FinnexPlanted+ 24/7 LED KLC Aquarium LED Light, Controllable Full Spectrum Fish Tank Light, 30 Inches

I ordered this light for my 29 gallon tank. I have a rimmed aquarium with a glass lid. The legs on the light have an option for rimmed aquariums and non-rimmed aquariums. The rim on my aquarium isnt more than 3/4 of an inch but the glass lid I have prohibits the lights to be secured properly using the screws that come with the light. When I tried to use the non-rimmed version of the legs, it seems a little unstable because it just sat on the rim, with nothing to stabilize it. So I used the rimmed version of the legs, even though they arent properly attached due to my lid, this seemed to be the most stable. My glass lid may be too thick for this lighting unit so I would be aware of how thick your lid is. I have the Aqueon 30x12 hinged glass lid. I'm making it work for now until I figure out how to further secure the light.With that being said, the light itself is amazing!! I love how it gives my aquarium a 24 hour lighting scheme. It comes with a programmed 24 hour scheme but you can customize the lights with the remote. There are endless possibilities with how you set up your 24 hour lighting scheme. Which is so cool! The only function I'm not a fan of is the lightening function. It's like a strobe light and it freaks my fish out. It's a cool concept but I'm not 100% sold on that feature just yet. The lights take my aquarium up a notch because it really accentuates the features of my tank scape. I love how I can have this unit on all day and it gradually changes lighting. It really is such a cool addition.My plants have appreciated this lighting unit, they are flourishing and look better than ever! I was having problems with them looking "sad" but with this lighting and some seachem fertilizers, they are looking better everyday! I'm very very happy about that!!Ive also noticed that my fish are looking more vibrant! I have angelfish and tiger barbs (I know they shouldnt go together but I've had them for 3 months together and have seen no problems with fin nipping. Actually my angelfish seems to boss the barbs around LOL) My albino bristlenose pleco is also out a lot more! He was always hidden during the day and I would only see him at the dead of night. I'm aware plecos are nocturnal, but he seems to love the lights because he's out a lot more! I catch him suckling on the driftwood during the day and I'm very happy he feels comfortable. Im over the moon with how happy my fish are with their new, realistic lighting!I have my aquarium in my room and I have noticed that the temperature in my room has increased just a tad bit. I'm not sure if it's the 2 filters I'm running (1 in new), my television or any other electronics but I wanted to note that this lighting unit does produce some heat throughout the room its located. It's not a huge deal but some may be bothered by it.Overall, purchase it! Its lovely. My fish and plants look great and I'm 100% happy with this purchase.

Absolutely love this light. Originally using a Beamswork light, which worked fine for low-med plants, but still left me wanting. After looking at T8 fixtures, Satellite Pros, or even a second Beamswork, I ended up grabbing this for my 20g Long.My plants were pearling the very next day, and I couldn't be happier. I may even end up getting a second one of these to really get the most out of my plants. The day/night cycle is amazing, and works very well. It also makes the tank look gorgeous.Very easy light to setup, simply affix the legs and plop it on top of your tank, and with 4 presses of the remote, your timer is set and you're all done.The remote was extremely easy to work with so long as you read the instructions, and the batteries were provided.All in all a great purchase, I would look no further.

I ordered this and thought it was just going to be a generic planted tank light with the 24 hour cycle witch is pretty cool. But its way better it has awesome features, my favorite being thunderstorm. The only complaint I have is that the remote does NOT have range you have to hold directly to the light. Brightness and timer worked amazing I never had an issue with it.After about 5 months of using the light I started having issues with it. The lights would all randomly flicker like a strobe light then once you’d unplug it and plug it back in it would work fine again.Then the remote started to not want to work. It wouldn’t let me change settings on my lightbar or even turn it off.After about a month of dealing with the random light flickering it stopped working about all together. When you plug the light in it will work for maybe 10 seconds and then shuts completely off.Very disappointed it was a great light while it worked!

So I don't usually leave reviews on products I buy through amazon. However, I feel like I need to. If you're on the line about this light, don't be. Buy it, it's amazing. It's a great price for an exceptional item. I've only had this light for ~2 weeks, and I had a cheapo Chinese one before. I've noticed very noticeable growth compared to the cheapo one. I do also use CO2 and dose fertalizers, but I did before. It's a very attractive and sleek look, and almost seems to complement the tank in it's beauty. It is very bright, and has many customizable options that you can save to the remote. I don't use the timer function because I use mechanical timers (help with CO2), but have heard it's nice. I would buy this light again, and probably will when I start a new tank. It's 100% worth the investment.

Lights are great, but the remote is garbage!! It's huge for the few options, and we've only had it for a month and the remote is already not working, so now the light is stuck on. Takes endless battery wiggling and messing with the remote to get it to work. Don't know about timer since remote is so glitchy I don't have accurate way to try it out.

I was happy with the customizable light settings and its power. Although I don't have a high tech setup, this light grows everything I have greatly and makes my tank pop more than my previous all white leds. Just wish I could do more specific time settings rather than every 3 hours.

Super bright. Definitely reaching the ground cover plants in my 29 gallon. Only dislike is the feet won't work if you have a glass top on your tank. Seems more suited for rimless tanks.

I absolutely loved this light in my tank! The colours and settings were beautiful and the plants in my tank have grown a lot stronger since having a timed light.But after about a month it stopped working completely! Absolutely gutted.

Solamente hay un pequeño detalle: las instrucciones que trae no son claras. Tuve que consultar en internet donde explican ampliamente la programación y su uso.Por otro lado, por ser nuevo, hasta ahora funciona perfectamente, todo se maneja con el control remoto que trae incluida la lámpara, no hay encendido manual. Espero nunca falle el control remoto.

Moisture got into it within 5 days of use sent email to ask for a replacement chip board driver set no reply after 2weeks never again got a $250 aud light dust collector now... DEFINITELY NOT MOISTURE RESISTANT AT ALL

Los productos llegaron en buen estado, bien empacados. Conecte las lámparas (compre 2) y encendieron perfecto, también los controles funcionaron perfectamente, actualizare mis comentarios en unos meses para dar seguimiento, pero hasta ahora son una excelente opción.

Muy bonita lámpara, el alumbrado se ve increíble, supero mis expectativas, elegante los coambios de luz muy bien, lo único que falta es un instructivo del uso del control
