I'm a size 8-1/2 W and the 5-9 size fits me perfectly, even with a little extra toe room. They are surprisingly stretchy and don't feel snug at all especially, in the toe (I hate snug socks). They are a bit thick for wearing with "regular" shoes, but should fit in boots fine. They fit in my Crocs great. I will wear them to bed, also. It's not cold yet, but I trust that these will be warm. Cotton isn't warm, but they're 80% wool. They come far enough up your leg for warmth, but not to where your calf might tighten them too much. Can't feel the toe seam at all. Very good deal.

These wool socks are beautiful quality. Soft with an excellent cushy fit. No seams a toss the toes. Height is perfect being above ankle but not too high. Colors lovely. I wear a women's size 7 shoe and the fit is just right. I find them perfect in cold and warm weather. I wash mine in the washer with my delicate garments and hang them to dry. No problems or shrinkage at all. Highly recommend!

The socks are amazing and are super warm. I have been suffering with cold feet My entire life, but these socks came as a blessing. I really love these socks and are a must buy. they are soft and the fit is good. Definitely a value for money.

I know it sounds cliche, but am honestly surprised how comfortable and luxurious and decent quality these socks turned out to be. Considering that other 'known' brands cost like four times as much and there were almost no reviews at all on this product, I felt I was taking a gamble. Turns out it was a good buy and I'm honestly stoked about 'em.Though time will tell how the material fares with wear, it does appear to feel of high quality wool and there is no loose stitching or errant threads to tangle in toes or pill up like with cheap knitting. If you turn the socks inside out, there are no sloppy loose threads on the backside of the knitting. They are thick and warm and have no thin or loosely woven areas.I am a size 6 in womens and the heel and toes fit perfectly. I am also very short, so the cuffs go up to the base of the bulge of my calf. For a taller person, this might be more like crew-length. They stretch well too, doesn't dig into my fat calf at all.So yeah these are far better quality than expected, especially for the price. I paid $15.29 after tax or whatnot for four pairs, while most quality brands are in the $22+ range for a single pair and don't often offer 80% merino wool. To be fair, I have no way personally of knowing the exact amount of merino in these socks, as the box they came in does not state the material content at all (merely says "womens wool socks"). But I am happier than expected by a long shot, so this is a shopping win for me!

Light weight, soft, and keeps feet warm. Fit nicely. Fit inside books. Good for fall or winter weather. Great price for four pairs of socks.

I really loved these wool socks. First and most importantly, they are very soft and not at all itchy. I'm someone who starts itching a the very thought of wool, so this was very important to me. They are also very comfortable and while warm, not overwhelmingly so. They are not overly thick and they kept their softness after washing. I'd definitely buy them again.

I have a condition called Raynaud's. When my core body temp gets cold, my toes can get white and numb. It's a painful problem that has to be managed, especially in winter. Polyester, spandex, microfiber, anything made with plastic can exasperate it. They make my feet sweat and then cause them to become cold and clammy. Finding the right socks that help keep my toes warm, especially when we are having extreme cold temps, has been a challenge. I am sensitive to wool, it makes me itch so badly that even in low percentages I usually cannot tolerate it, but somehow these socks do no bother me. I love the price, colors and patterns and they do not itch AT ALL. The softness is remarkable, inside and out and my toes are WARM. I have not washed them yet so I do not know what to expect there, but if it's a negative experience, I will definitely edit this review. If it's a postive one, I'm buying more! I highly recommend.

Love these socks. So warm and thick so be sure your shoes have more room. My boots fit well when I have regular socks or average thickness. When I wear these I have issues zipping my boots up, this is not the socks issue though.These as I said are warm, stay up the way they should, keep my feet warm, wash well. The tightness on top is good. I got 2 sets of these because I love them for winter. Very good product.These would be a wonderful gift to someone since they come in a box with a bag! The packaging is really nice but not that necessary.5 ***** stars all around

Beautiful quality thick winter socks. Can’t wait to try these they look super comfy and warm! Only negative is the height, too short to wear with average winter boots, boots would be rubbing on your bare legs if your wearing pants over them. Would be suitable for boots just at ankle height basically high top height and no more.

I never knew socks could make my whole foot feel hugged. Super multi direction stretch. Don't slip around feet. Super soft finish. No irritation or scratchiness at all. Wore them in a pair of new winter boots inside the house (testing the comfort of the boots) for over an hour and my feet didn't sweat. Haven't yet worn for any outdoor winter activity. Not super thick but significantly thick enough to clearly not be summer socks. Machine washed all. Drip dried 3 pairs and put the 4th in the dryer. No change in either case compared to how they felt or looked right out of the box. Packaging is lovely enough to make these giftable. Thanks to other reviews that helped me to choose these. I highly recommend... otnone negative thing to say... didn't know I could be so excited about socks lol
