I bought these to apply to decorated "cake-like" soaps. They work just like regular gold leafing. They are very thin and they tear easily (but that is normal). The only drawback is you can't really see the color of the leafing until you open it up and it tears so easily that can ruin what you have in mind. It sticks well and flakes off the way I wanted it to as well.They come with several beautiful vibrant colors. I love the variety included in the package.I have also used these on some miniature wooden crafts to add some details. The leafing sticks pretty well, but because it tears so easily, it took me using a cotton-tipped applicator to get it to stick without coming off. They perform the way I had planned, so I am pleased with them.

I got these for decorating polymer clay miniatures and it works great. The sheets were actually a little thicker than I expected, but still kind of fragile like foils tend to be. Since I work in miniature I didn't need to keep any large pieces of foil intact but I didn't really have a problem with unnecessary crumbling either. I did have a little trouble with adhesion but I think that's a matter of the glue I'm using and not the foil itself. One thing about the foil sheets is if you take the whole sheet off the protective paper, it will curl up into a roll and become difficult to unroll without tearing it so I try to leave it on the paper as much as possible. Love the variety of colors too.

I wanted some nice, easy to use foil for a craft project. These are exactly what they promise to be: small squares of shiny color. Using them is a little tricky at times - the foil is very thin, so any breeze or static can and will affect it - but any leafing/foil has a bit of a learning curve. (You might want some fine tweezers or other implements on hand, especially for rounded or irregular surfaces.)

I think the cost for these foils and the adhesion is good. The only thing I don't like is the mess, it's as if I used glitter you know how glitter is hard to get rid of, but the outcome is pretty.

They are slightly smaller than I imagined but they are as advertised and double sided with color which is required for my project I am so relieved they will work great. I am not sure how they would work as leaf application but with how they feel I think they would hold up to meet the requirements for that use I have only found one that was damaged which with how thin they have to be that is not surprising it will happen. From what I can tell so far the count listed is exactly what I received I did an initial rough count while dividing them to a storage container for their safety, when they arrived they are packaged individually by color and each sheet is between paper so they don't stick together or shred during shipping which is great. I am happy with they so far.

These sheets are roughly 3x3.5in sheets and come celophane wraped with a rubberband holding them together. I have yet to use them... will come back to add to the review once used.
