Wow!! As you can see in the photo, the flowers are gorgeous! I thought it was a little bit pricey, but the bulb definitely delivered. It was easy to grow in the growth medium provided. I will consider buying one again next winter.

Absolutely love this Black Pearl Amaryllis. Couldn’t ask for anything more beautiful. The size of the bulb was great but the size of the blooms was even greater. There is nothing more satisfying to me than growing your own for the holidays. I got so many compliments on this amaryllis, on the color and amount of blooms. It bloomed just before Christmas! Couldn’t have asked for so much for the price!

Flowers were small and the plant was short.Last year the flowers were tall and beautiful.

Beautiful blooming bulb. Many blooms over the past month or so. 4 blooms on one stalk, with another blooming stalk almost ready to open. Easy to start and set up. Great value for the money, considering you could buy a bouquet of flowers for the same price, and they would be dead in a week.

Bulb is huge, firm and with sprouts. Happy with purchase.

Still lovely though. I thought the blooming was a good bit short.... the flowering lasted less than two weeks. Previous blooms from other retailers lasted a good week or two longer.Still... easy to grow, lovely three-pronged flowers.

I gave this as a gift to my mother for Christmas, and it has bloomed beautifully. I was worried that the bulb might have not been healthy after I first opened it for inspection since it seemed to have a lot of moisture and no visible roots, but there were no soft spots or signs of rot/infection. It began to wake up and bloomed within a month of planting in the pot per the instructions. Buy with confidence from this nursery when/if they are back in stock!

I ordered two as gifts last year and repeated the orders this year, but got one for myself too. When the package came It contained a bulb in a burlap bag, a soil pellet and a pot. It was not as beautiful as it is pictured. I ordered this last year thinking it would only require watering. I did not want to give the two different people any work besides watering. They didn't say anything other than they liked it. It is probably beautiful. I'll know better in a month or so, but don't expect The beautiful burlap wrapped plant that is pictured.
