Surprise to note that inner wallet colour disolves from fresh purchase of FRIO mini .How come this is possible for a FDA approved product.It is not price worthy

This is the first Frio I've seen that dosnt work or do anything.

I purchase many many items online. I have never been so disappointed in an item as I have with this one. I will be returning it immediately. I purchased it having read all the reviews. My 2 comments are: #1 - the small Frio cooling wallet is much smaller than I anticipated but EXACTLY as described. It holds 1 vial of insulin and 1 syringe. That's it. I could deal with that. I placed the itty bitty inner pouch in ICE water for over 5 minutes. In my opinion it didn't "plump" up much as I expected (maybe because it is so small). I dried it per instructions. I put the vial inside the inner pouch and thought to myself "Does this maybe get a little cooler once it's placed inside the larger pouch?" NOPE. I was not expecting refrigerator cold but I was expecting it to stay cool to the touch at least for an hour. NOPE. The sad thing is that my insulin vial was refrigerator cold when I put it in so for it to be at room temperature within 30 minutes surprised me. I would like to know how others have kept their items in the Frio cool because I really wanted to like and use this product. Sorry Frio.

I bought this to keep a refrigerated med cold. The product description is very misleading. Even the name FRIO is misleading. This product is not for refrigerated meds. This product is meant to keep room temp meds at room temp when you are out in hot conditions. It doesnt make that clear in the listing and only after receiving and reading the booklet that came with it did I realize I’d been mislead. The temp range should be added prominently to this posting!

I bought this a few years ago and only use it when I know I'll be outside for extended periods of time in the hot summer, so I don't use it extensively. It works well enough to keep my insulin cool in the extreme heat. Well, I just started to use it again a few days ago, kept it in my purse like always, but when I pulled it out to take my insulin this morning, there was mold all over the tag! When I soak it in cold water, I always let it dry overnight too, I never use it immediately after it's been activated.Thankfully the temperatures have dropped now outside so I'm just throwing it away. I don't think I'll buy a new one either since I see in the reviews that the mold issue has happened to others too. Hopefully I can find something else to use in the future.
