This was actually quite easy to assemble, took about 20 minutes using two people. It is very sturdy and the way the seat is made it is super comfortable. It swings great and looks fantastic on my front porch. It comes with chains but you will need to purchase the items needed to attach to the ceiling, they are not included. It looks like wood without ever having to paint it. This will definitely last a lifetime. Highly recommend. Great price for this quality poly wood!

This porch swing seems to be an excellent product. It was easy to assemble. It is well engineered. It is strong and comfortable. The material is the poly wood like the Trex deck material but it seems to be much stronger and does not flex. It will never chip or peal because the color is made into the material. It has a wood grain surface. Feels very smooth and easy to clean. I believe we will enjoy this swing very much through the years.

Worked exactly as expected. Installation was easy and it is a high quality composite type product that will be extremely more durable than wood. Highly recommend.

I spent DAYS over analyzing everything about porch swings. Did I want real wood or this pretend wood? Would it look like a cheap piece of plastic? Would it be really uncomfortable? Etc etc. I can't speak to how easy it was to assemble as I hired someone at the Amazon check out process to put it together for me (that worked out really well). You will need to buy the chain links at the top for it--see other reviews.After all this research what do I think? Love it. I find it very comfortable (without a cushion), and don't have any issue with the back of it pressing into my back (a few reviews said that). I'm 5'8" and my husband is 6'4" and no problems for him either, or our kids. Looks great (not exactly like wood but close enough and I won't have to keep painting it). Very sturdy. Hangs on the front porch of our 1905 home. We use it every day and love it. (Would I have been any less happy with my 2nd place choice? Probably not, so don't stress about it too much :) )

Sturdiness and its a swing.

We love this swing. It is exactly what we wanted in a porch swing.

I anticipate many years of low maintenance use out of the swing. Although it's not easy to find the weight limit on the packaging or in this listing it seems like it should hold two average adults without any trouble.

Sieht wirklich toll aus, ist sehr stabil! Der Aufbau erfolgt am Besten zu Zweit, da beim Verschrauben doch Kraftaufwand u. Gegendruck erforderlich ist. Passt perfekt auf meine Terrasse meines Schwedenhauses. :-)

Wish the seat was one board deeper but I love it. Easy to clean and looks great
