Firefast Bellows

I bought this as a gift for my Dad, who previously used a pipe as a sort of bellow to start a fire in a wood stove. As the cold weather hit this year he reached for this zippo again and thanked me for the gift. It was something that surprised us both, it works as advertised, if not better. After almost a year I believe it still has the first set of batteries we put in it, so it's nice it's not power hungry. It indeed was a very practical, quality gift that seems to be lasting well. I'm very pleased with the purchase and more so that he likes it a lot and continues to use it.

Love this thing, unobtrusive sitting near the fireplace and can be hidden easily. Works like a charm, just push the button, point it where you need it and voila flames!! Buy this and you will not regret it!

A gift for my son who heats his home with a fire place full time. He has commented that it could use more airflow but I have tried it and think it works great. He prefers his old hand pump bellows and continues to blow ash and mess everywhere where as the Zippo did not. He will appreciate it more as he gets older and learns to have more finesse and patients. built well and will last until he does.

I’m a gadget lover, and this is one that really works! Nice steady air stream, revives the flagging fire. Love it, would buy it again. Using rechargeable batteries, so far good. Comfortable fit in hand, compact size. Worth it!

When I first tested it out of the box I was disappointed with the speed of the airflow. THEN I actually used it on a fire. This thing works like a charm! I realized that if it blew any stronger it would run the risk of sending sparks everywhere and would be hazardous. The airflow is at the exact right speed, especially combined with its funnel and shape, to work perfectly to stoke up a wood fire.

My son made fun of these bellows until he tried them. They really do the job. Also, good for camping or bonfires.

This is one of the top 3 cheapest made things I’ve bought on Amazon. Actually falls apart in your hands. Incredibly weak airflow. Even with the weak airflow batteries die quickly.

First off: This product DOES work as designed. It's genuinely made grilling and smoking easier when it comes to starting my fire, and stoking the fire when it's starting to die. Positives: -air speed -ergonomic handle -easy to change the batteries -holds up to the weather on my back porch (covered porch, but exposed to temperature) -The battery life is actually pretty strong! Negatives: -when I see Zippo, I think sturdy lighters. This is a Zippo product, but VERY cheaply designed and manufactured -In the first week, after several uses (I grill 2 to 4 times a week weather permitting), the button started to stick -I'm terrified of dropping it onto my patio, because I'm not sure it would survive the fall from hip high

Great addition to our camping gear. Such a small device, but the vortex works to bring oxygen to your fire and get it roaring. You would not think that such a light fan could create such a huge impact. Even better; it is only 2 AA so you don’t need a large battery with you. Great for hiking or trailer camping.

Gratamente sorprendido... Este pequeñín me ha solucionado todos mis problemas para mantener la temperatura de mi ahumador. Ayuda a encender el carbón inicial para encender.. ayuda a atizar los nuevos troncos de leña o los chunks añadidos, y te da unos cuantos grados más de temperatura en los remanentes de la fogata actual para mantener estable la temperatura mientras los nuevos troncos añadidos entran en acción .. MUY BUEN DESEMPEÑO..

Entre mis curiosidades de asado tengo un fuelle de Piel que compré en una prestigiosa tienda de cortes, este fuelle me ha servido para calentar carbón de volada o cuando agregas carbón y quieres acelerar la distribución de calor, pero la verdad es que es una friega tener que acercar las manos y andar bombeando. El fuelle electrico de Zippo podrá pacerer que arroja una corriente de aire muy leve, pero al ser una corriente de aire constante es muy efectiva para prender el carbón una vez que tienes brasa. Si tienes uno de esos iniciadores de lata y ocotes (o sus versiones más potentes) podrías tener una carga de carbón al rojo vivo en menos de 10 minutos. Yo le sople al carbón como a medio metro de distancia y arrojó suficiente aire para poder incrementar rápidamente la cantidad de braza en un asador weber. Totalmente recomendable.
