Its a MONSTER of a Truck
This truck will move... it will go over bumps and lumps in the road. It gets up and keeps on truckin. My grandson has his trucks, my nephews are older so I got this to have when the nephews come to visit so we all have a RC vehicle. This truck zooms. It just kept going. Very durable... very fun to watch and control when the boys will let me have a turn. It simply will jump over sticks/small logs.. flips and flips back and keeps zooming. It attracted the neighbors and before long we had a group. An RC party of sorts. But this is an awesome truck. Kept my young teens happy. Kept the grandson happy, kept the husbands interest. A great vehicle for keeping all ages entertained. Highly recommend this truck. Great Purchase. Happy Customer.

Super fast and fun RC truck!
This is the fastest and highest quality RC truck I have ever owned. I have had other, cheaper, RC cars before. The build on this is solid, and the battery charge lasts a long time, especially for how fast this truck is! I was impressed with the responsive controls, and all the options to customize the control and feel of the truck. The settings on the remote out of the factory were very accurate; it only needed a minor adjustment to the trim to get the truck to drive as straight as possible. The only slight draw back is that the reverse trigger doesn't seem as responsive as the forward throttle. Perhaps that's typical of this range of RC cars and trucks, however. I'm still giving it five stars for the speed (~30 mph), responsiveness of the controls, the quality of build, battery charge, and my overall satisfaction on how the truck handles (whether on grass, concrete, or carpet).

Insanely good value. Buy 2.
This car is unbelievable in its price point. It's a great hobby grade 1/16 scale truck. About 20 miles an hour. GET 2S LIPO BATTERY. Things a beast. One of the best value RCs out there. Insane price! Lots of fun. If you can add oil to the shocks- do it. Bash on!Hobby grade. Not for little kids.

Exceeded expectations by a lot
These are moderately hobby grade and for a super low price. People complain about the body rub and the shocks but its a 70 dollar car. If you're just getting into the hobby or you want to get someone else lile your wife or kids into it its perfect. I got 2 so my wife could take it to the skate park and launch it with no consequence

Fast. Good value. Has some weak spots.
I think this may be the best $80 you can spend getting into a functional and workable... and powerful... RC Monster Truck!.Good: nice controller, good hardware. Our unit came with better shocks installed than it was supposed to and all metal axles.Bad: shock absorbing bumpers should be a little more ... absorbing. I'm currently working on rebuilding this unit and replacing the entire lower tray since it only took a few light impacts before separating.I was expecting the front shock / strut assembly to crumple on an impact. That would make sense, since it can be replaced in under like 2 minutes by a 10 year old. If the front shock/strut assembly broke, I'd be a happy camper!Instead, that whole plastic structure survived but the top backbone and bottom tray shattered. So every single piece has to come off.I'm currently fabricating a new tray from AL, and have some extra back straps on the way. A stronger tray would have put the force where it should be; on the towers and front easy-to-replace parts.Edit: I ... wow it's been a few years. This appears to be a "Remo 1631" from what I can tell. Other than the battery chargers (one works, one was garbage) I'm about to buy a third one of these. Our first one finally suffered its first non-crash-related issue after now many summers as it ate off the last of it's 39T main ringgear. A pack of replacements is about $5, though doing the replacement involves complete dissassembly. While waiting for parts once, we bought a DEERC 9300, which we thought was a similar Remo. (It wasn't. and didn't last very long even though it has the same look). Avoid those, for the same money, it's half the vehicle. We picked up a wrecked Cheerwing/REMO 1631 off ebay originally for parts, but ended up getting both up and running for little effort. Both have suffered no backbone cracks since we added an aluminum baseplate. Motor, controller, everything's been underwater more times than I could count, and one spent a week lost in a snowbank and TURNED RIGHT back on afterwards like it didn't happen.Suggestion: Buy it, find replacement base plates (Aluminum) on amazon or another place, tare it apart and upgrade that and the 39T main gear. Well worth the effort.Still leaving it at 3 stars due to the propensity to crack out of the box (main base plate is very weak) and the battery chargers.
