The wide rim rainforest shower button doesn't depress on my unit. Has anyone experienced the same issue and was there a special adjustment for it?

When you installed the shower unit did you line up the buttons with the valve body underneath? Check the Grohe installation video on YouTube, it is much clearer than the printed instructions. Search for Grohe smartcontrol 310 installation. Good luck.
