Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a Indian blockbuster film. It is a movie belonging to the romantic-comedy genre. It is directed by Ayan Mukherjee, and stars Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin, and Aditya Roy Kapoor. The movie is about the coming-of-age of four friends, who finally realise where they want to be in their lives. The film received positive reviews from critics, and was a huge hit commercially. Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor), Avi ( Aditya Roy Kapoor), and Aditi (Kalki Koechlin) are three school friends who set out on a trip to Manali together. Bunny is a cool dude who is loved and adored by everyone around him. Their class-mate, Naina (Deepika Padukone), whom they fondly called ‘Scholar Naina’ because of her being a nerd, also joins them on the trip. Naina is a shy girl who feels awkward in social gatherings, and cannot get along with everyone easily. In this trip however, Bunny particularly changes a lot. She is forced to come out of her shell and embrace her true self wholeheartedly. The ‘Scholar Naina’ avatar soon gets replaced by a cool and fun-loving Naina. During her transformation, she falls madly in love with Bunny. But, Bunny has other plans in his life. He wants to travel the world and enjoy his life to the fullest. Seeing that Bunny’s and her choices in life are completely different, Naina decides to keep her feelings to herself and moves apart. Eight years have gone by since then, and their lives have undergone a number of changes. Bunny is living his life kingsize as a videographer while Naina has become a doctor. Aditi is about to get married, and she invites her three best friends, Avi, Bunny, and Naina, for the wedding. Naina and Bunny meet again.
