So far, so good
Nov. 2018I have no complaints. So far it securely holds adjoining corner pieces securely for either drilling or gluing. It is easy to use. Meets my needs so far, just fine. Good price and at this time, I am happy with my purchase.

Good tool to have
I can't believe I've never had one of these before. It's like having someone hold a board for you, square and without moving.

worthless
I run a custom framing shop and was looking for a couple of clamps that would allow for precise alignment of picture frames while the glue set up. I typically add mechanical fasteners after the glue has set, so really I just wanted something to allow for precise alignment. This definitely was not it. There's a lot of manufacturers making these things but they all have the same fatal flaw. As you tighten the clamp it will open the joint as opposed to close it. This is exactly the opposite of what you want! I suspect if the jaws were angled so that downward force was applied they might work, but that's not how they are designed. Really I don't see a whole lot of use for these other than maybe aiding in assembly of cabinets or something. Keeping corners square, etc. You can make up some similar from scrap wood for a lot less money though. Don't waste your money. These are pretty much worthless clamps.

Perfect drawers
I use this tool to make my drawers and it was very helpful. Takes a little work to line up the two pieces but it works very well. I recommend it to anyone.

Not Perfect
I purchased this item to help with making ventilation shims for bee hives. I envisioned it making quick and easy work of creating square 16-1/4 x 19-7/8 3.5 x 3/4 ventilation shims which I also intend to use for spring hive top feeder spacing. This clamp does not bring the corners together, it pushes them apart. It also does not hold the wood tight enough to support the opposite ends. I still had to use a standard clamp to pull the ends together before drilling counter sink pilots. I'll probably still use it, but I am disappointed that it pushes joints apart rather than pulling them together.
