It has been surprisingly difficult to find a decent looking but simple alarm clock for next to my bed. This seemed to match the bill; time, alarm, snooze, and temperature. Unfortunately, it's too bright with the lights out even on the dim setting.If you have it plugged in the LEDs never turn off. There is a setting that only turns on display when you push the light/snooze button but that only works if you are on battery power and I don't want to constantly use batteries for the alarm clock next to my bed; they should be for backup only. If that setting worked all the time this would have been perfect.

As other reviewers have mentioned, it is very bright, even in night mode. This is mostly due to the large size of the numerals (clock face is 2.25” high, numbers are 1” high).After momentarily losing electrical power a few days ago, I installed the recommended batteries (3, AAA-cells), as the setup directions are a bit obtuse, but doable.The snooze button on top of the unit is difficult to find by touch alone. I had to purchase a package of small, round self adhesive dots (0.5” dia) from a hardware store (furniture tip section) and placed one directly on top of the snooze button. Now I can easily find it without physically picking up the clock and looking at it to shut off the chirp when the alarm sounds. I also placed 6 of these grips on the bottom of the clock to keep it from sliding around (as a visual bonus, the numerals reflect nicely off the glass surface of my night stand).It was a bit of work for me, and an extra expense, but the mirrored face takes this clock beyond the utilitarian. It keeps perfect time and I am glad I bought it.

I got this LED Digital Alarm Clock for one of my guest bedrooms so that my guests would be able to tell what time it is. It can be powered via 3 AAA batteries, USB, or you can plug the USB end into the end of a cell phone charger in order to plug it into the wall. The front panel of the clock is a mirror which is pretty neat. The light can be dimmed or brightened. I also like that with the size of the clock, I can easily grab it to go on vacation with me. It's a nice little clock!

So happy with this product! It’s sleek and modern looking, just the right size as well. It was super easy to setup and has all the features I wanted. I don’t think it gives off too much light at night but there’s two brightness settings so you can have it dimmer which is perfect. I also love that it can digitally show 24hr time as well.

It looks nice but has some pretty frustrating problems. First, even the dimmest setting is way too bright. Lights up the whole room at night. Only comes with USB connection on a very short cable, no wall plug. The cable is so short you can't really choose where to place the clock on your bedside table unless you get an extension cord as well. You can put batteries in it, but the clock only lights up when plugged in, so if you use batteries you have to press a button to light up the clock every time you want to know the time. So they're kind of like a backup battery, except not really because you lose the main function of the clock-- to display the time. There were no instructions for how to stop it from switching back from time display to temperature display every few seconds-- I happened upon it with lots of random button mashing, no idea if I'll ever be able to recreate it. I don't really care if it is currently 73 degrees in my bedroom-- I want to know if I have enough time to go back to sleep. Who knew a clock could be so annoying!

Very pleased for an inexpensive clock for my home office.The front looks great. The mirror works well.I'm happy that the digits are not too big (1"/2.5cm high) as they are bright.I like the clean bright white digits. They are more attractive and readable than color digits or black digits.The sides and back could be tidied up, but I have it against the wall.Its pretty simple to operate when you find the manual.

Nice, nice smallish alarm clock that is so easy to read. Tired of having to check my cell phone for the time! Attractive style, it takes up very little room sitting on my desk. Instructions to set the time, alarm, etc are concise and easy to follow. Delivery was swift and the price reasonable. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

Feels very cheap. The dimmer function is a joke. It is like staring into a solar eclipse without safety glasses. I have to cover it up with a towel at night or the whole room glows like a radioactive chamber. I also find it mildly annoying that there's no simple way to double-check what time the alarm is set for, like holding down a button for a second; rather, you have to cycle through the alarm-setting process entirely if you want to double-check it. Wish I had spent $10–20 more on a better product.
