Not good quality, instructions non existent
so this is the most ridiculously difficult things I’ve ever assembled. We all have smart phones, cameras etc how hard would it be to make an instructional video and attach it to terrible instructions with a QR code? If I had paid $200+ for the natural wood finish I’d be insanely upset if I went through all that for the price. I’ll take it merely bc it was only $100. I’d rather put together the LEGO princess castle than do this carousel again. Parts chipped bc holes arent properly pre-drilled and compartments with the curved facings still don’t sit flush and rotate and pop out of place. Seriously this is pretty much garbage in my opinion but my daughter is two and she doesn’t care about aesthetics, like her mama and daddy. She likes knowing where to go to find her hats and shoes and costumes. So alas, I will deal with the poor craftsmanship. I own the kitchen helper also and it has been my kitchen savior, so maybe this one product is just a short coming for the company.

Great for our space...
Just what I needed for my daughter's small room - love that it's a tall tower AND it spins. I've looked at a lot of other organizers that are rectangular and would just take up too much space in her small room.It holds all her dress-up stuff (shoes, purses, tops, skirts, dresses, tutus, etc etc!) with room to spare. The top shelf also happens to fit her jewelry box perfectly, so I've put that there as well, The two full length side mirrors are quite narrow, but my daughter loves them...she uses them for checking out her dress-up creations as well as her daily regular outfits. I expect that as she gets a little older we can repurpose it to store other types of accessories, extending it's useful life a little longer.I only have 2 complaints - One: Assembly was pretty hard. I had to do it alone, but the instructions really could benefit from some text accompanying the pictures. And the pink center panel doesn't quite go all the way to meet each side - not a big deal but worth noting. Two: I'm not a fan of the exposed screw heads on the front of the large bin compartments. For the price, I think there should be some sort of decorative element to cover them once assembled.Overall, a great purchase that suits our needs perfectly. A couple minor assembly issues kept me from giving it 5 stars, but overall I would recommend.

Pleasantly surprised. Easy assembly.
I almost did not purchase this because of the reviews saying how difficult it was to put together. Not at all the case for me. Instructions were easy to follow and I was able to put it together alone in an hour and a half with three small children running around. I think the biggest thing is to follow the instructions which say not to tighten the screws until the entire piece is assembled. I am pretty happy with the products, but I feel like the price is a bit high. Some of the pieces were scratched or had wood chipping around the screw holes and the backboard is curved a little as in the picture. I probably could have put it underneath something heavy to flatten it out before assembly but I thought it would straighten out when assembled. Overall happy with the product. I will say that it is not incredibly sturdy for younger children. If they climb on it it will definitely tip over. But I think that could be resolved by taking the rubber feet off the bottom so the wood is flush with the floor.

Not bad. Typical Guidecraft quality
Not bad. Typical Guidecraft quality. Not perfect, went together well, will hold up to the years of play for the most part. Did have a couple boards with chunks "nicked" out of them like corners of shelves etc. But its more or less expected with the Guidecraft products. But its not a HUGE deal when you consider the prices. They are typically low enough that the minor imperfections can be ignored. We own a few Guidecraft products (mostly larger play items, like kitchen fridge, dress up wardrobe etc) that when you can get them significantly cheaper than some of the other competitor brands its well worth the few messed up things. Husband says they are relatively easy just time consuming to put together.

Well made and sturdy for the price
Holds a lot of accessories and dresses. My daughter is very tall at 3 years old & we were trying to find a dress up setup that she’d be able to use without ducking down to see herself in the mirror. This is quite a few inches taller than her and easy for her to access all her stuff. She loves it and I love that everything has a home now! Very sturdy and well made.

Ideal area for a dress up wardrobe, or organizing clothes...
I'll start with the fact that dress-up is so much fun for both my son and daughter that I encourage them to be ridiculous. The mess gets insane and the laughs loud. Now with this carousel the choices are expanded because they can see all of the items at a moments notice, the cubby bins keep all the little accessories straight and the bucket type hold the smaller ones as well, there are also 2 slender mirrors for teh instant gratification of seeing their ridiculousness. The hangers are a bit tall but my my daughter at 2 years old seems to stretch up there sufficiently enough. The assembly took less than a half an hour and the play could start immediately. The carton arrived torn and dented, but the manufacturer packed it so well that no contents were harmed, thankfully.I would highly recomend this item to anyone for play time or even a nice organizational piece of furniture for smaller spaces and kids clothes. This is essential for any dress-up playtime!

HORRIBLE assembly instructions but good overall product
The instructions are SO unclear and should be divided into a lot more steps. It took a really long time to put together as I had to take pieces apart and redo multiple steps. That said, all of the holes lined up appropriately and, once you have the pieces oriented correctly, everything fits together very well. Only a screwdriver is needed for assembly. After I finally got it assembled, the finished product is very sturdy and I am very pleased with my purchase overall.
