The product was excellent for long but recently I have experienced...what I think is a corrosion build up on +ve or -ve points. The life span seems cut short by a good 40% even when the batteries carry charge . On rubbing the batteries a bit against the connecting points of the device they continue again to transfer charges . I am sure most of the customers must be disposing them off with charges. P.S. Quality control @ Amazon should check the corrosion reason (Metal used in top and bottom) apart from checking the volume of charge. Longlife was the recalling factor for this product apart from competitive pricing . P.S.2 The only beneficiary in the short term is the supplier because of higher turn around.

I once read somewhere that Poundland sold more batteries per unit than any other retailer in the UK, and based on this alone I always used to buy their Kodak batteries assuming they were the best value out there. For someone like me running a plethora of toddler toys, cat fountains, and electronic devices I really notice how long batteries last, as I’m always hunting around for the smallest screw driver trying to get the tiniest screw out of something or other.
