My daughter is now 42 and over the years I have tried to find something that was unique to our relationship. After all the ups and downs of raising a daughter and seeing her blossom into a great mother, wife and professional, this book was just perfect., especially now that she has a 9 year old daughter that is exactly as she was at that age. The book and my added comments made her cry and that was the perfect reaction. This book puts into words what a father daughter relationship should be, I am so happy that it is what I have with her

This book brought my 6'3" 275lb biker hubby to tears. What else can I say?

The book is good quality with relevant pictures but it is repetitive. When reading, I began to think that their was more than one contributor who didn’t know his message of why a daughter needs a father had already been stated. I was more than ready for the book to end but when it finally concluded, the closing of the book is almost in a scolding as if the purpose of the book was to bring a recalcitrant father back into his daughter’s life. I bought it as a gift for my son on his first Father’s Day but after reading, did not gift it.

This is a touching, beautiful book that I bought for my son who is expecting his first child, a little girl. It was part of his birthday gift and he really loved it. I think it is a thoughtful gift for any new dad of a girl.

It brought tears to my dad’s eyes. There is LOTS of room to write memories that you may have and want to share. The book is absolutely beautiful. My dad NEVER cries and he was tearing up reading this, especially the little things I wrote for him. Buy this book!

My dad loved it but it is a little long so it was awkward watching him read it for 10 mins. But I'm at the point where my dad buys himself everything and leaves me nothing to get him so tried something little.more sentimental

You won't go wrong buying this book if you have a sentimental dad like mine! I purchased this book as a Father's Day gift for my dad. I have not yet given him the book but just after reading through it myself, i know it is sure to bring tears to his eyes. It is much longer than you would think. It sums up everything that i have ever wanted to say to my dad that has never come out. If you're looking for a great gift for dad, you will not regret this purchase! I think it would even make a nice gift to a new dad from young daughter.

Bought this book as a Christmas present for my dad. Thought it would make a nice stocking stuffer. Unfortunately he won’t get a chance to read it because what I received looks like it was rolled in charcoal after a Pit Bull chewed on it. On the bright side, at least it was less than $5. Not even worth returning.
