What's the point of this patch if there is nothing over the sensor?

The patch goes around the transmitter and helps to keep the sensor in place. Without it you might have the transmitter interrupted. Dexcom send them out for free but can take several weeks so I needed another source and got these. They are not as good as the official ones Dexcom supplies for free but worked when I was out and needed them.

I am allergic to adhesive. i have a skin reaction to all adhesive .so do you have these cover without the adhesive for the freestyle sensor?

They all have an adhesive backing to make them stick around the sensor, without the adhesive it would just fall off
