My coffee beans were going stale before I could use them and so at the end of each bag, the last few espressos lost their shine.. their punch.. their freshness. My coffee bean tin was exposing the precious jewels to ambient air and the carbon dioxide was escaping. You need the carbon dioxide for the crema and fresh ground taste.Enter Airscape Coffee Canister. Brilliant two part lid design. One sits inside, forming a seal with the inside of the can, so when you push down, the air is expelled, keeping your beans protected and preserving that CO2. A useful handle allows you to easily extract this lid again when you want to make coffee.The outer lid fits on the top of the can, doubling up on the bean protection, and giving the whole item a classy and well-produced look.I bought two in contrasting colours so I could keep my regular and decaf beans safe and separate.Definitely recommended for anyone who really cares about their coffee.

Definitely worth the money. Plunger ‘piston’ design expels air providing the best you’re gonna get in terms of delaying coffee bean oxidation.Really nicely made materials, I think it will last well if I don’t drop it. Which is my only issue, nothing wrong with the product, just that where I position it in a corner I tend to grab it from above rather than grasp it from the front as most people do I’m sure, so I tend to lift it with fingertips which is awkward. I suppose I’d like a handle, but not sure how the designers would achieve that without compromise.I love these storage containers, just a bit too pricey to justify buying more for other kitchen ingredients

Incredible technology

I had a 1kg bag of coffee beans and decided to buy this jar as there wasn’t much freezer space for the whole bag.I decanted some and put the rest in the freezer. Followed the instructions and secured the vacuum lid as tightly as I could. They’re still tasting good weeks later.I queried whether the price would be worth it, it doesn’t hold 1kg but is great for keeping the beans fresh and lasting longer. A good purchase overall.

Love this works well. Only snag is I bought the wrong size. Being an idiot I thought I needed 500g for a block of coffee but it’s only 250g. My mistake though.

It is certainly a very practical, effortless, quick, and easy to use system, but I have doubts that is really effective - certainly not as effective as the systems where you forcibly pump the air out through the valve until you know you have created a vacuum (e.g. atmos). No pain, no gain...Still, I think it can be a convenient intermediate solution if you want to save time and effort.

After detergent and water, then meths failed to remove the label residue from the can and lid I ended up having to use petrol. Ridiculous. A cling label would work, no adhesive needed.That aside, it seems to work as advertised but too early to be sure. Easier to clean than zip seal coffee bags and still seems to allow for co2 to escape. No denying it costs a lot more than a few zip seal bags with one way valves, but a much neater solution.

Superbra behållare som definitivt fyller mina krav! Rymmer gott och väl 500g kaffebönor, kan till och med få i uppåt 600g.

Articulo bien construido y en principio realiza su función, falta comprobar como afecta a la conservación de los alimentos a lo largo del tiempo . Por ponerle un "pero", creo que es demasiado caro para lo es.

Well made and attractive piece. I use mine for ground coffee as well as beans. Keeps them fresh. Easy to use and looks good on my kitchen bench.
