Purchased for my daughters who both love outer space and stars. Bought at a price drop of 10USD.The GOOD: the glow is amazing! Think of the two options as bright white full moon glow OR a yellowish harvest moon glow. Both are beautiful and bright and the kiddos love having it on to help them sleep. This is cordless and has a simply touch receptor for on/off, yellow/white light. It will shut off on it's own after about 2 hours and the charge lasts a few days, after which, you must plug in to a regular USB wall adaptor using the cord provided. The base is easy to assemble and really a bit of design genius in its simplicity. The texture on the outer construction design is fantastic, lending the light a truly realistic look to it.The BAD: The touch receptor is technically on the bottom--the moon is weighted such that it sits easiest that way, though you could rotate it a bit so that the small eraser size touch point is more easily accessible. NOTE however, that this will likely change the glow pattern slightly. A charging cord IS included, but a USB wall plus is NOT. While this isn't a huge problem, I prefer to have dedicated plugs for devices and this means I have to generally make a point to move this item downstairs every few days for charging.I really am a bit jealous that my kiddos get to have this in their room...might have to buy another.

If you are thinking about buying this, do it. It's gorgeous and everyone who sees it is in love. I want one for me.I purchased this for my 6 year old's birthday - he's currently obsessed with the solar system.It comes in a beautiful gift box, which I didnt expect. Not exactly what you'd give a 6 year old boy, but a very pretty box to give an adult without wrapping.Of course when you open the box, it looks pretty lame, he thought it was just some white ball. The magic is when you turn it on, and you realize what it is you're holding.The switch is a simple tap to turn on, tap to switch between white or yellow (soft white) color, and hold to dim and brighten. The charging port is next to the switch (cable included, but ac plug is not).The moon comes with a little wooden stand that pushes together easily, and while just a simple angle of wood actually looks quite elegant and does the job.The moon itself is gorgeous. The details are perfect since its a 3D printed object.We use it as a night light mostly and I'm not certain if it has an auto off timer or if the battery is just going out. We get about 2 nights between charges but I'm sure we'd get much more if I didn't leave it on to run for hours at a time.It's super portable and a nice little light to pack away for overnight trips.It's been dropped a few times already and still looks and works fine, thought I'd try to be careful with it.It's very light. Think large ping pong ball. And you'll get the idea of the material.One of the neatest things has been watching him show it off to his grandparents, who are at first obviously unimpressed by yet another ball to "oohs" and "aahs" when he turns it on to reveal what it actually is.This little last minute gift is easily the favorite that will last him a long time.

Bought this for my 8 yr old since I hates a dark room. This is an awesome night light! The touch sensor button is cool too - no button or switches to ruin the moon look! Goes high to low if you keep your finger on the button and if you tap the button it goes high, low and amber. Nice and bright on the brightest setting and the amber gives a great ambient lighting. He even uses it to walk around with - it’s bright enough to lighten the hall way to walk to the bathroom. Very happy with this purchase!! Came in a very nice box too - using it for toy stuff now :)

Came quick, as usual, but the packing of it leaves something to be desired. All of the materials are just placed into a square box with no padding or other. So the remote and wooden stand pieces are bouncing around and getting wedged by the moon. So what happened with mine then? The remote got wedged in a corner of the box and the moon and was snapped, wouldn't work, looked like the board inside was damaged by that as well, so no way to tell if it was the remote or moon (moon cannot turn on/off without the remote).But, contacted the seller with a pic of the damage and they very quickly sent out a replacement. So, it all works now!As for the product, the stand was a bit hard to assemble, as one of the pegs was just slightly larger than its connecting hole. The moon looks good and its size is perfect. Was able to hang it up on my overhead light and activate it whenever I want.Very pleased with this product.

I am so amazed at how realistic this moon looks. The touch sensor light illuminates in a soft glow and a bright white. Charges through a usb so the moon itself is cordless and can be placed anywhere. It’s very beautiful. The stand is basic which is just fine because the focus is all about the moon. Great for a nightlight. My purpose of buying this was for my toddler to appreciate. He’s obsessed with the moon.

This was the most fought over gift at our christmas gift exchange.

I'm beyond happy to have purchased this moon light! My 2 year old boys are absolutely in love with it. Here's to hoping bed time will be easier for them now😉

I'm really happy with this night light.My fur-kid, Fozzy, needed a light that would help him navigate the dark without waking me up for help. I also really like it because I can use it like a candle to walk around the house if I need to find him or see what he's vocalizing about.The only downside to this is that the touch activation is a bit quirky.Sometimes it's on-point, but other times I really have to tap it hard to work.Other than that, I like my purchase.I especially LOVE the warm glow of the second light setting and even the "red moon" charging light...wish I had that as a setting and not just for charge mode.
