For mood lighting only.
Bought two strands of these to put under our patio umbrella thinking that they would provide enough light to be able to see enough to play card or board games. They did provide some light to see, but not enough to read any small writing on trivia type cards. If mood lighting is what you want, these are PERFECT.

Not with the hassle
These were difficult to intsll, the battery pack compartment broke after one day, so the lights were triggered on automatically. It was difficult to roll umbrella up and down

Defective but took three hours to get up one strand white the rest multi. Should have spent more to get better quality. Very disappointed!

Ordered two sets and one did not work
These are very cheap lights. Only one set of two ordered worked. Sent back the broken set and received a replacement that also didn't work. Decided to tinker with them and it turns out the battery connection was poorly designed and doesn't make contact. I would give this zero stars if possible.
