Works exactly as described, with absolutely no odors! I bought this with the understanding that this composter takes kitchen scraps and dehydrates them, while grinding them to relatively small pieces (1/8" or less). You can then take the output and either dig it directly into your garden beds or add to a non-electric composter along with some "compost activator" for further fermentation/processing into compost.This composter appears to be well-made - it's sturdy and its pieces fit together nicely. The lid opens and closes easily, the bin lifts out and returns easily, and the bin has some form of non-stick coating on it. Finally, the controls are easy to understand and even tells you how much longer until the current run is completed.It has two processing options: 6 hours for normal use, and 4 hours for smaller loads. It also has a self-clean cycle, where you put water into the bin and it will slosh it around for about 15 minutes to clean the bin. I haven't used that cycle yet -- so far everything has easily wiped out of the bin with a rag, but if necessary, you can put the bin in your dishwasher!This model has a relatively small bin into which you place your scraps (3 liters), but since I live alone, that's more than I will ever need! If you have a small family, it will probably suffice as long as you run it fairly regularly. The normal time for it to process your scraps is about 6 hours, so I would just suggest that you keep adding scraps until it's either full or it's the end of the day -- then run it after dinner or overnight! P.S. - If you have a large family, this may not be the product for you, unless you want to run it after every meal! 🤣The noise level while running was barely noticeable, and the activated charcoal filtration works flawlessly! Even when processing a full load of onion peelings, I couldn't detect a single smell (once the lid was closed)! I'm not sure how long the charcoal will last before needing to be replaced... The manual says approximately 6 months, but it really depends on how often you run the machine!I like it enough to know that I'll be using it regularly!!! I've only had it for about a week, but I'll update this review at a later date when I have more experience with it (good or bad!).

As described. Super easy to use. Has handled routine kitchen vegetable scraps on the 'Quick' cycle with no problem, producing dry compost product with minimal noise; smell of compost product is similar to pipe tobacco, not unpleasant. I have a condo and small patio container garden. I can't do a full-scale compost pile but thanks to this device, I can add dried kitchen scraps to my small compost bin to complement my container garden clippings for good green/brown ratio without creating stink or attracting critters.

Easy to set up and use. Not as quiet as expected. But fast and convenient

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My wife is so excited about this product. We’ve had it one week and she has used it four times. The end result goes in her garden. This morning the compost smelled like bread. Very quiet. This was a birthday present. Score one for me. It’s small but we lived in a small townhouse. English instructions were clear. My wife is concerned about keeping it clean. Just activated the lifetime warranty.

Lasted about 6 mos until I started getting "e2" errors (overheating). Now completely dead. Contacted vendor and did get refund as didn't last a year.

It's amazing. Breakdown all the scraps of food. I have used both the 4 hours and 6hr speed. Both work, 6 hr makes a more fine result.Great price. Used 3 times as of yet.Recommend.

So far I find this electric compost bin to be easy to set up and use. Not too heavy to carry or maintain. Perfect solution for my food waste recycling needs!

This composter works exactly as stated. Its very easy to operate and clean.
