There's a New World Coming: An In-Depth Analysis of the Book of Revelation

Hal Lindsey is very knowledgeable about the End Times. I have some of his other books and I have been listening to his teaching from The Hal Lindsey Report. I recommend this book for a specific study on the book of Revelations. He outlines through each chapter, so it is easy to follow. Sometimes in his teachings, and from his other books, he will bring in a lot of information from other places. This is an easy to follow format.Some people have disregarded him, but I have found him to be very knowledgeable in digging out much treasure from Scripture that often lies buried. He helps tie so much together. Some of his early study was done during the Cold War & the overarching threat of nuclear disaster, so he felt that the end time was very, very imminent. But today, we are ever closer than before. Studying the prophecies of the coming end has been helping me better understand these present times of collapsing values and increased deceptions, and the hope found in Christ alone.

"There's A New World Coming" is a brilliant explanation of a book in the Bible called "Revelation." If you have read this book of the Bible at one point in your life you may have come away with numerous questions. Hal Lindsey presents every verse in Revelation and explores all the possible scenarios that are predicted to occur in the Tribulation. If you want to know the future of the world this is the book to read. It includes information on everything that will occur during the seven years of Tribulation and the thousand-year reign of Jesus. I would recommend this book to Christians and unbelievers alike. It is totally compelling and make you wish for the rapture to happen today. While I don't like to necessarily read about the judgments the earth will suffer I must say that thinking of a world that is totally peaceful for a thousand years is something to look forward to. If you are at all interested in books like the Left Behind series then this book will hold great appeal. This book also contains beautiful descriptions of what heaven will be like. But what I liked most was the descriptions of various symbols that can be somewhat troubling to decipher. Hal Lindsey's insight is truly remarkable. This book was written about 40 years ago and it's interesting to see what was written has come true. Easy read, simple, clear explanations. Worth the effort to check it out!

Over the years, I've purchased a number of copies of this book, giving some of them as gifts to family/friends. I'm a daily bible reader, studying/researching eschatology in particular. When reading and/or studying Christ's Revelation to John, I always use Hal's study guide on Revelation, "There's A New World Coming," and urge others to remember the Apostle John's encouragement, "Blessed is the one who reads the word of this prophecy [Revelation], and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near." (Rev. 1: 3) I can't recommend strongly enough this excellent study of Revelation.

ALL OF HAL LINDSLEY'S ESCATOLOGY BOOKS ARE DEAD ON IN REGARDS TO KNOWLEDGE AND HIS EXPLANATION. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
