Doesn’t work for us
I had high hopes in this product but it’s no miracle worker, unfortunately. First of all, my baby hates it, second of all, it’s hard to adjust it so that baby will be determined to face the other side. He still manages to turn to his preferred side somehow. It’s a super cute beanie, other than that, made us smile.

If you have even the slightest worry of Flat Head on your baby, GET THIS!!
My baby boy had turned 12 weeks when I purchased this item and in the first weeks of him being born, he had spent a large portion of that time in hospital where he was lying in his cot - always facing one side. I was growing more and more concerned about his little flat patch forming on his head when we eventually did get home.I tried numerous things to help him grow out of it (lots of tummy time, using a baby foam pillow for play time, turning his head mid-sleep, etc) but I wish I hadn't wasted my time and just bought this!I have used it for a full month now and the improvement has been AMAZING!! Honestly!I can see his head rounding out nearly every day now and compared to what it was like before I started using it, it is about 90% better already in one month!I will keep using until he is sat up unaided during the day but for now, he wears it at night for his 8pm-8am sleep time and also for his 40 minute naps x4 during the day.Warning: your child will SCREAM the first couple of times you put it on but they do get used to it. You have to ensure it is on tight! The only bit of criticism I have for the item is that the little square of velcro on the front of the cap is deteriorating after every use - perhaps a popper button would be more durable? But the velcro pull-tabs on either side are in perfect condition. All in all, if there is even the slightest worry that your baby is forming a flat spot - GET THIS!It truly is an amazing product!

A voir à l’usage
C’est le premier jour que je le mets à mon fils et depuis il pleure tout le temps. On verra dans quelques jours s’il l’accep et s’il y a des résultats.

Liked it but fit could be better
Was recommended by my babies physical therapist, love the design and helped my babies flat head tremendously! The fit could be better though. in the instructions it says the hat is supposed to come down over their ears and the hat was not long/deep enough to get over my babes ears.

Good concept but baby hates it
This product was recommended by a pediatric nurse and when I noticed my 2-month old son’s head start to look asymmetrical and flatter on one side, I immediately bought this hat for him to try.Unfortunately, he cries until his face turns purple while wearing this hat. The second I take it off he stops crying. It has rubbery gripping inside the inner rim of the hat so that it stays in place on the baby’s head, and while this makes sense for the design of it, I think it’s probably just really uncomfortable feeling for a baby to wear. The hat has to be somewhat snug so that it doesn’t shift around and come out of place, so that doesn’t help with the uncomfortable feeling either.Sadly, I will be returning this hat as my son has a major meltdown every time I have put it on him. I was hoping this would be helpful while he spends time on his back but it won’t work for us. I’ll continue the search for other methods of keeping him off his head during wake times.

Great hat but don’t use every time
I noticed a flat spot on the side of my 2 month olds head and immediately started researching different pillows and ways to correct this without a helmet. I’m giving this a 5 star but have recommendations for the next buyer. My son preferred his right side so this along with tummy time and lots of stretching helped him with the range of motion. He doesn’t have torticollis but I thought he might in the beginning. We started going to the infant helmet appointments bc I was almost certain he would need one and after using this for 6 weeks straight during all sleep the flat spot has improved according to the scans and measurements. With that being said we created another problem, the back of his head is not flattened out since the hat doesn’t allow complete range of motion he pretty much has no choice but to lay flat on the back of his head. I would highly recommend getting this and using is for a few weeks but then maybe alternate naps or nights using it and not using it. It will help shape the head so baby isn’t always laying the same way. We still may need a helmet. They’ve recommended we stop using The hat for now and see what the measurements look like with him laying on different sides during sleep. Fingers crossed his head shape does round out but I have a feeling we’ll still need the helmet for a few months.

Ineffective and waste of money
This is the most ridiculous purchase I ever made. Worthless and complete waste of money. I used this on my 5-6month daughter and I got the largest size upon reading the reviews and comments. This is way too tight leaving a mark on the forehead/side/head which makes it really uncomfortable. The memory foam part that sticks out to help move the head sideways is not sturdy. You might as well have a beanie on. The Velcro strap seems like it is cutting the circulation off the head. This product seems like it should have some serious RECALLS. I don’t think this product is helpful. Even if this product was snugly fit on the head the part that sticks out (memory foam) is very easily flattened which makes this the most ineffective product to what it advertises.
