Simple, quality copper.Pleasant looking in the birdbath.The dimples are a smart design - lifting it slightly off the bottom of the bath.Seems to slow the green growth, given my bath is exposed to a lot of sun.It does patina a bit, which is fine.Can be quickly scrubbed back to shine using Bar Keeper's Friend - just make sure to rinse very well.(Maybe adding a second would increase effectiveness, too?)

These discs really work. They keep the algae down and the water fresh. I bought one from a local store and needed another, this one is just as pretty, the same size and at a little less price. I would recommend it definitely.

I have fought algae in my lily pond for many years! These discs are truly amazing! After a couple of weeks, the algae has all died and the water is clear! I still need to clean up the dead algae from the bottom of the pool, but these discs feel like a miracle!

So far working like it should. Has been keeping the water clean longer for the birdie's!

These copper disc's are quite substantial in size and weight, I was pleasantly surprised. I have read that copper helps keep pool, swim spas, bird baths, etc water clean and clear. I bought the 2 pack for my bird bath not realizing their size, durability and how beautifully embossed they are. So far, so good in keeping the birds' water clean instead of daily cleaning the bowl, now every 3 days. I recommend these disc's for anyone who wants to keep the outdoor bird environment and water clean. The copper color is bright and I feel the birds are attracted to it.

It seems to be working after 3 weeks in a small bird bath with solar fountain. The copper is still brilliant, and the water is clear. However, It doesn't stop mosquitos (nor did it claim to), so I still have to use mosquito dunks, or change the water every 3 days. But there is no algae clogging the fountain pump.

Works as promised. These disks have noticeably slowed the growth of green slime in both our concrete and ceramic birdbaths. Serious cleanings are less frequent and easier to do. Would make a nice gift.

Larger than I thought. It has kept my solar fountain clean and no slimy algea.
