As a prior owner of BeatX headset, which both functionally and stylistically comparable to this headset, Taotronics TT-BH042 has matched a lot of the features that BeatX provides at a fraction of the price.TT-BH042 battery life is similar to that of BeatX. Sound signature is a bit warmer but each of its own. The neckband is a bit stiffer, and the batteries are larger than that of BeatX but still isn't bulky like those LG neckbands. Sound isolation is passive and is also similar for both models.The only downside when compare to BeatX is the absence of the Apple W1 chip, which simplifies the pairing process. It should be a non-issue if you only pair the Taotronics to one phone, as pairing only has to be done once.Given the price of this headset compare to Apple/Beat-branded product, the Taotronics is a steal, highly recommended!

Right off the bat the connectivity is easy and very quick! Straight to the point, I love everything about this product! they are very comfortable, they come with different sized ear tips and ear hooks to choose from. So if the default pair doesn't fit you, then you can easily switch to another size that fits! The controls are very responsive and quick, which is very good! Skipping tracks is easy, just press and hold down top arrow to skip and bottom arrow to go back a track. The music quality is very crispy and the individual instruments of any type of music is very clear and immersive! without modifying the equalizer in settings at all, the bass is punchy, the kicks are nice, and the vocals are amazing! The distance is SUPERNATURAL! I'm not joking!!! I took my phone and this thing out side, set my phone down, and walked off in a clear distance and I walked almost 500 ft before this thing started to stutter just a TINY bit!!! If you are hitting the gym, and need to charge the phone somewhere, you don't have to worry about anything. I went across the whole gym and everything is perfect! no cuts! If you are around loud music in the gym like I am then these things are perfect, because as soon as you turn these bad boys on, you can actually FEEL the difference in the noise being cancelled in your surroundings!-As good as sounding like the 240$ pair of headphones I currently have. with the simple equalizer that is :)-Great Price-Great neckband-Great control setup-Amazing connectivity reception-Feels Great in the ears, Super comfy-Super long battery life like guaranteed! (use it until it dies fully, then fully charge it back up for best results!)-How did I forget?? The magnets are so convenient! They stay on you like a necklace! The click is satisfying too!Overall a very well made product, and is a bang for the buck!!! You won't regret buying this!Why is 5 stars the limit?? I LOVE IT!!! I rate this a 10 out of 5 stars!

Oct 9, 2018 Update:I had originally given these headphones two stars, but changed to five. As mentioned in my original review, the headphones I received didn't hold a charge and I sent them back. The seller actually contacted me and sent another pair. Great customer service!The replacement sounds just as great as the original and the battery holds a charge. I use these for working out on my rowing machine since it can get a little loud and the ANC is sufficient. I don't expect the same experience as $300 noise cancelling headphones, but these are very good for the price. In my opinion, the customer service alone is worth the 5 stars. Definitely give this company a chance if you're looking for new headphones.Original review:I really wanted to like these. The sound was great and they were super comfortable. Unfortunately, I fully charged them multiple times and each time they died shortly afterwards. After listening for about a half hour, I'd shut them off. An hour later I'd try to turn them on, but they'd be dead and require a full charge. Too bad. They sounded great when they worked.

These noise cancelling headphones are with me constantly. Unobtrusive and effective.I'm a Reporting Analyst in a Bank. A developer. Distractions are my nemesis. Large over ear headphone helmet is not my answer. These are.And nothing better for an hour on the lawn tractor. Phone calls, music, podcasts, etc come through delightfully.That they are value priced takes away the worry of daily use. If I somehow manage to break these headphones today, I'll eagerly buy the same set tomorrow.

I love these headphones. I bought them on sale, but I then paid full price for another set for a gift. The active noise reduction is really good; better than anything else I've owned (that's about 6 others). Audio quality is great. Very comfortable, with a choice of tips. The little tabs are ideal; these are the only earbuds I've had that stay in place. Battery life is great. The mic is fine. I use these for long teleconferences and don't have trouble bring heard. Pairs quickly and easily. (Note: the seller offered me a reward for posting this unbiased review.)

Usually I use Bose Quiet comfort in thr house, but they are too bulky to drive around in, etc....I enjoyed being able to be cordfree in the gym, as well when running about town...Using a Taotronics BT Dongle with my 160 GB iPOD classic with no pairing issues and zero drop outs...Music sounds pretty terrific for earbuds...For better I need to switch to my Bose...And the water resistance for people who work out and sweat, this is indded a good thing...

I used these to listen to music while I mow the lawn on a riding mower. I needed something that reduced the noise, but not completely cancelled out sound, as they blade sometimes gets clogged or bogged down due to the heavy or wet grass. These worked great for me. They reduced the noise of the mower a lot, but not completely. And the sound quality of the music was good.At first, I thought they felt heavy in my ears, but after just a few minutes, I was comfortable with them. This was a good purchase.

The volume on this device was very low. Unable to turn up to a reasonable listening level. Also noise cancelling is non existent. This part may be due to my small ear canals but they also hurt my ears and stuck out from my head so I wouldn't be able to lay down on my side with them in

Was leary about them but they perform well. And the anc seems to be working well
