Update: This was my son’s favorite book u til he was 3. I buy it for friends with babies. Great book. I think the similarity to the itsy bitsy spider is what makes it a winner.Original: My son loves this book. We got it for him around 11 months old for Halloween. It’s now summertime and this book is still in our reading rotation.

My toddler likes this book and I like that it’s hard back

Super cute and lovely illustrations. My daughter loves it. But, she instantly broke the cover which she hasn’t done with any other books, so this may be a bit flimsy.. after that, she doesn’t like reading it much. I also don’t like the rhymes at the end after the witch- feels a little lazy and could have been better. Otherwise, it’s a cute book.

My one year old son absolutely LOVES this book. It's smaller than typical board books, which I think he likes plus it would be easy to throw in a diaper bag & not take up much room. The words are a little tricky & push the Itsy Bitsy Spider tune a bit. So we just got it yesterday and we have read to probably 20 times. He loves flipping through the pages & that the book is sung.

I do home childcare and got out the Halloween books today, have 20 or so. This one is her favorite, we read it 7 times!
