I installed it on my front door, and it’s been working smoothly from day one.Pros:• Multiple unlock options – Fingerprint, app, PIN, and traditional key backup•Fingerprint reader is fast and accurate•Auto-locking feature gives peace of mind when I forget to lock the door•WiFi gateway makes it easy to lock/unlock remotely or check logs in the app•Sleek design – Looks modern and doesn’t stand out awkwardly on the doorCons (Minor):• Setup took about 30–40 minutes, but instructions were clearWhat I love most is the fingerprint access—it’s so convenient not having to fumble for keys.I’ve also given PIN codes to my older kids and can see when they come and go through the app.

I’m not one to leave a lot of reviews, actually this may be my first. But I was throughly impressed with this smart lock. Super easy to install, great instructions. Seems sturdy and good quality. Very user friendly app. I’ve only had it a few days but everything is running smoothly. For the deal I got on Prime day this was my best purchase!

Great door lock works good

[ORIGINAL REVIEW: 2/5 Stars] This door handle is only designed for Left-Hand door swing. If you have a Right-Hand door swing (like me, pictured), the door handle will have to be pulled upward to open the door (instead of the normal downward pull). I contacted Philips customer support to see if I could switch the orientation of the handle, but I could not change the handle after speaking on the phone with them. My 2 stars refers the door handle not being adaptable to other door types.[UPDATE: 4/5 Stars] After talking more with Philips customer support, they sent me a replacement handle that worked for both door orientations. I am updating my review from 2 to 4 stars because the door handle works for me now, but I'm not sure if the original handle (this Amazon listing) was malfunctioned or a different product type.The lock pad works great! The fingerprint function works really well and the Home Access app is easy to use despite only having 2 stars in the Apple app store. 5/5 for the lock, fingerprint function, and app.My only issue now is that the outside latch sometimes sticks (as someone else also mentioned), while the inside handle moves smoothly.

Love this new door lock. It speaks and lets you know when door is locked and unlocked. Has finger print detection, digit entry password, auto locks, easy to control on the app. Installation was not extremely heard but we did need to drill different holes than were on our previous door that had an electric lock. So far I really like this lock. Only downside I’ve seen so far is that once it said the door was locked and yes the door was “locked”. But it was not closed all the way. So only the deadbolt was out and it detected it as locked. May be user error or that our door is metal - ( not the frame though) so not 100% why this happened) but so far very happy with this purchase and would recommend.

This is our experience with this product. We do have prior experience with installation of locks, deadbolt locks and smart locks. Although this product looks modern and sleek and boasts some great features, in reality it is just a disaster start to finish. Highly recommend you RUN FAR AWAY from this product.Specifically, the handle set was apparently defective (or maybe they all do not work?). We spent HOURS trying to get a seemingly simple device to work. This includes 45 minutes with a very generous Home Depot employee knowledgeable about locks, our door installer (also knowledgeable with locks), and a number of emails back and forth with Philips support. Be aware, their support is completely ineffective. It appears these are just people answering a phone and trying to help by looking stuff up in a manual. No real product knowledge as far as we could tell.Difficulty in setting up the software - it took us several tries to get this working properly. Be aware the password reset "feature" is non-functional. It only directs you to the login screen where it asks for a password. Clearly, if you are needing a password reset providing a password will be impossible. Even if you call support, apparently, they cannot reset a password either. Yes, makes no sense, but here we are.Software does not always display the correct status of the lock. For instance, if you are away from home and want to check the status, you may find it tells you the door is unlocked (concerning) when it actually is locked. Or vice versa. I have stood right at the door and had the software tell me the door was locked when it was not.The fingerprint recognition technology, while seemingly a cool feature, is VERY hit-or-miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Very aggravating.If you get through all this and do decide to buy this product I would STONGLY advise that you dry fit the components of the handle set first BEFORE you drill the lower hole in your door. We spent a week highly stressed over this stupid lock because we had already drilled the hole for the handle set before we realized it did not work. Professionally installed, quality doors are expensive, and we were very worried our new door had been ruined and that we would not be able to get another handle set to fit to the existing hole.Save yourself time, money and stress - do not buy this awful product.

The lock want release completely from the outside, making it harder to open the door. Other than that, this is and amazing product. Perhaps I might need to disassemble the door and try to readjust it. It works perfectly from the inside.

Best thing we ever got. The app use is great. Install was easy. It is a quality lock. All of our family can use their finger prints to enter.
