I guess you caught them. It's roughly 4" X 1.5" and less than 3/4". More important, me thinks, except when I'm flying it is ALWAYS with me, even though I've never made my living with my hands, unless you consider typing. I'm mostly retired. 79. And still, never a day goes by without my using it or someone in my family saying "Hey, can I borrow your Leatherman?" Finally, over the years - Hell, decades - I have tried to find a better multi-tool. It does not exist.

Q: Has the pinch issue in the plier handle usage been resolved

I would say no. The way the tool comes together when using the pliers would make it fairly easy to pinch yourself if your gripped tight and choked on the grip. But thus is avoidable if your aware of the problem or have a decent pair of work gloves. Honestly though it isn't the tools fault entirely. Many pliers have this issue. Not just the leatherman.

Q: Can the cutting hook cut a seatbelt easily?

Yes, that will be the least of your issues in that type of situation. I pray that you never have to use it.

Yes it does, extra side storage on both sides, and a slim pocket behind the Leatherman for one of the little bit sets.
