I’ve purchased several of these trains for my 3-year-old, and let me tell you, we are now living in a full-blown railway empire. The couch is a station. The hallway is a tunnel. Not even the dog is off limits.They talk, zoom, and make train noises that have somehow become the soundtrack of our lives—and my kid LOVES them. He presses that button like it’s his full-time job. Every time they say something, he laughs like she just told the world’s funniest joke. I don’t even know what they are saying half the time, but apparently, it’s hilarious in toddler language.What’s extra cool is that they interact with other talking engines (we caved and got them all, send help). Now they’re having full-blown conversations on the living room rug, and I’m not entirely sure who’s running the house anymore.These things are sturdy, too. They’ve been launched off a coffee table, stepped on by a grown adult (oops), and dropped in a laundry basket. They keep on chugging, unbotheredIf you have a toddler who’s train-obsessed, these will blow their little mind. Just be prepared to hear them talking all. Day. Long.

My son loves these trains, we have almost all the boys and now he has decided to add the girls to the collection. He loves using them with the big cranky Crain train set because the button on that set will start and stop all the trains at once.
