Our customer wanted a stylish seat. The quality of the seat was great, it is very sturdy, and functional. It also looks great and made their bathroom stand out from the rest. They were very happy with the size and it already comes assembled so it was easy to install.

This is beautiful, functional, and will serve the purpose. I love the durable construction, stainless steel and clean lines. It is heavy, so make sure to reinforce the installation area with extra 2x4s It has not yet been installed but if there are any issues, I will write another review.

Great product built well and installs very quick. Just mount with six screws and you’re ready to go.

I ordered this shower seat for an upcoming bathroom renovation. I decided that since we're expanding the size of our shower, I should consider installing a wall-mounted shower seat that would be ideal for bathing our dogs as well as my wife shaving her legs. This seat would also be a benefit with any future injuries when standing in the shower is not an option.This shower seat comes preassembled with stainless steel hardware, anchors, a template, and instructions for installation.I like that this shower seat is constructed of stainless steel (which is rust-resistant) and poly lumber (a thick molded plastic made to simulate wood). Both materials are waterproof and rust resistant, and the poly lumber won't require the maintenance that's typical with the upkeep of teak.The 17.5" seat is a generous size, and I like that when folded against the wall, it will only protrude about 2". The anti-pinch design ensures the seat won't pinch your hands when folding the seat up or down. I tend to be clumsy, so that's a bonus. The fact that this seat supports a 400-pound weight capacity is what led me to take a closer look at this product. Not that I need to hold that amount of weight, but it's reassuring to know that once this seat is installed, no one will come crashing down in my shower.My contractor looked over this seat and the hardware. He referred to it as "Mac-daddy," so I'll take that as a positive sign that I made the best choice. I would like to mention that it's important to have adequate backing for attaching this shower seat when installing. My contractor will be adding additional supports inside the wall to anchor this seat securely.I really like that this shower seat looks sleek, modern, and stylish and not cold and sterile like other shower seats I've looked at. I ordered the teak, and it truly does look like real wood and even has the wood grain look that simulates the real deal. The medium shade is warm and inviting (as far as shower seats go) and will complement the new tile we've selected. I would like to add that this seat is available and black and gray as well.Overall, my wife and I love the look, style, construction, and function that this seat offers. The price point seems very reasonable and, in fact, lower than several we were considering. I think the quality seems better than most as well. As far as wall-mount shower seats go, I don't know that you'll find one as nice-looking as this.

The seat and back are made of a waterproof composite imitation wood – so no fading nor rotting. The pivot/hinge is over-sized to carry a lot of weight and is not loose – so no unanticipated flopping down. Even the supplied stainless steel mounting screws are extra long – so it attaches solidly to the wall. And the spacing of those mounting screws are conveniently spaced to precisely fit on standard 16” centered wall framing studs.
