This is the one for me!
This little burner cooks an egg in a cast iron skillet more evenly than my gas range. It’s elegant, too, with an updated stainless steel design. I like the idea of butane over propane because if you ever have a leaky canister, you can smell it quickly. It brought a big pot of water to a boil in 10 minutes. It’s easy to use and has a built in igniter. No need for a lighter. I will probably get another one so I can have two burners side by side.

After about 6 months is still working with no issues. Highly recommend!
I love this little stove. First, the hose is flexible, unlike the stiff metal tube, is very easy to attach and detach. The flame is powerful and the regulator works flawlessly. I’ve had this stove for about 6 months now, and have not one complaint! Highly recommend!

Good Stove...But the Case...
Ok the stove is great. Works really well out of the gate. You will need butane tanks specifically sized for these type of portable stoves. They are really expensive on Amazon, but if you are fortunate enough to live near an Asian supermarket, you can pick these up for about a dollar a can or less. They are 8 oz each so they last a pretty long. Just remember to line up the notch so that it is facing up when inserting into the stove. There's a small window on the top of the surface for viewing to make sure. Once lined up, just give the can a gentle push and it pops into place, and to detatch, just pull out. It works surprisingly well. And just in case you are wondering, No, these butance canisters don't work for filling butane lighters for smoking, unless you want to use an adapter that works. I've personally never found one that does. But I digress...Now, the problem with this item is the case, specifically the glue used in it to hold down the foam inserts inside of the case for protecting the stove from getting banged around. The glue is horrible! It dried to an unsightly yellow color making the white case really old and messy looking. (BTW using white for the case is probably the wrong color choice as it gets dirty quickly. A darker color would have been better.) Anyway, I could have lived with the yellowed glue, but some of the glue was moldy and unsanitary, so I had to scrape it out using Goo Gone, which took about half an hour to complete. The last photo shows the cleaned out case next to the stove with the butane inserted into place. The manufacturer really needs to change the glue used in the case. So if you are willing to clean out the case of this disguting glue, then the stove inside will serve you well.

My Favorite Type of Portable Stove
This Portable Gas Stove looks very nice, more upscale or modern looking than other similar stoves. It looks so nice in fact that you might consider using it indoors or inside of your van or RV, please don't do that. I used an older type butane stove that was similar, it was made before the newer safety features, so I got to see first hand what happens if a fuel leak develops. I was very thankful that I had my stove outside when that happened, I was able to just turn the stove off and take a step back until the fuel in the line burned up. But if I had been in a tent or a vehicle the story could have been a lot different. Having said that, I would like to let you know that these are still my favorite type of stoves to use at a camp site. I usually set mine on top of a picnic table or a good stable camp table. The reason I like these stoves is that they are almost just like cooking on any gas stove eye in my kitchen at home. The amount of BTU's generated by the flame, coupled with the stability of being mounted inside of a metal box that is sturdy and rigid, gives it that feel of a normal cook top..This stove comes in a heavy duty hard plastic box that will be able to handle some minor packing abuse without worry of damaging your stove. The inside is lined with material that will help prevent the stove from rattling or banging around inside. When I initially removed the stove I thought the box was full of black mold, but upon closer inspection I saw that it was actually black foam packing material that was stuck to the glue used to hold the interior liner in place. The fuel canister is loaded through a port at the back of the stove, the notch in the canister is lined up by looking through a glass window on top near the front of the stove. There is a modern magnetic catch that grabs the ring at the top of the fuel canister to hold it in place.Starting, adjusting the flame, and turning the stove off is simple and straight forward, it is all done using the single control knob on the front panel. These butane stoves produce more BTU's than most other camp stoves, so I was able to bring a full pot of water to a rolling boil in just a few minutes. The stove has it's own built in wind screen and it will handle most camp site cooking tasks. But it is not designed for large stew pots, stock pots, or extra large fry pans. An 8-10" cast iron fry pan, or similar sized Dutch oven should work with no problems. Anything of a lighter material in that size range and below should also work great. Think of this as if it were a small cooking eye on your normal kitchen stove.I like the sleek design of this stove, and I don't mind if people accuse me of glamping one bit.

Product has become dangerous after only 6 months of use, company never replied to my emails
UPDATE: IT EXPLODEDThe stove is okay while it lasted. The burner is incredibly awkward though and quite a few pots won't fit on it for being too small. But the worst part is that it started leaking gas while connected even when the burner knob was set to OFF. I was noticing brand new cans of butane being empty within hours. Mind you I sleep right next to where I store my stove in my van. So thankfully I noticed there was a gas leak after only a day, who knows what could have happened to me inhaling all that carbon monoxide in a very enclosed space. I reached out to the company several months ago about this and they never responded to my concerns.Due to financial limitations, I could not get a new one so I would just have to remove the canister every time I was done cooking. But now even when I'm using it sparingly, the butane leaks somewhere in the holster and has sparked large flames around the connector. I was so lucky that the flames were put out fast enough not to leave burn marks on me or my van. This has become a dangerous product. I wasn't going to leave a bad review I tried to reach out to the company directly months ago with no reply. So only after I almost died for the second time am I writing a poor review. I've only had this stove for 7 months, maybe 8 months now. But the problem started at about 6 months.
