Smoker Pellets Set - 4 Pack Wood Pellets for Grill - Cherry, Oak, Alder, Apple, Hickory - Smoking and Grilling - 2 lb Each

I have a dedicate smoker that I use wood chunks with. I use these smoker pellets in a stainless metal tube that I use with my gas grill. I do not have a pellet grill. In past I had been using standard pellets, which while they smoked, really didn't smoke as much as these do. Using these instead of standard pellets gives more smoke and a more flavorful smoke. When smoking I prefer a stronger smoke flavor. I tried the oak pellets. I filled the tube 1/4 of the way, lit it and put it on the grill. I let it burn for a while, lots of smoke was produced. These worked well for my application. Using these to fuel a pellet grill might be expensive but for my use, they are great.

I got these excellent smoking pellets for cold smoking salmon and delicious Vermont super-sharp cheddar cheese. I've always used wood chips, and was reluctant to try the pellets, mainly because I didn't have a pellet smoker. Well it turns out that you don't need a pellet smoker!Just fill a stainless steel grill basket with your pellets of choice, and light it on one end. The pellets smoke for a long time. Hours. My first time, i used too many pellets. Because at 8 hours, when i took the salmon out, there was nearly half of the pellets left.Needless to say, these are excellent pellets. I highly recommend them.

This is a nice selection but really quite expensive. The packaging is top notch and would make a great gift.

This is a great blend of pellets that, while not a lot of each, should give you at least 2 or 3 smokes per bag if used correctly. Alder is one of the flavors, and I’d never used it before, so this was a nice way to try it out (I haven’t yet, but they do smell nice). Apple, cherry, and oak are some of my favorite, so it’s really nice to get them like this. What I don’t like is the quality of the bags, as every one of them arrived torn, so I’ll have to transfer the contents each to their own containers. The pellets themselves are good, though, so I can’t complain about those.

I use pellets (or wood chunks) to smoke fish with a cold smoker. The pellets save me a lot of work and give me more variety, rather than having to use the one or two trees that have fallen over in my yard, and cut them into little chunks.These pellets are certainly fragrant, as I could smell the different woods even before opening any bags.

This is a wonderful set to have stocked for the grilling season. These work in the smoker or on the grill. They really put a fantastic flavor in meats. We are looking forward to trying all four of the flavors, Cherry, Oak, Alder and Apple. This would also make a really nice gift!

Good looking item and great looking packaging. I'm thinking of pulling a couple of these out and adding them to xmas gifts.

These are nicely packed, and a nice variety of wood pellets. They burn clean and work great. No complaints about these.
