These are so delicious! The smoke flavor is a little stronger than I usually prefer, not overpowering but is the forward flavor here. It has a slight sweetness balancing the smoke, not very salty. Rainbow trout is one of my favorite fish, that I don't get to eat often, so having it tinned is amazing! I think its a little pricey, but worth it.

OMG Delicious! The smoke flavor is subtle so it doesn’t drown out the delicate taste of the fish. I broke up the solid pieces and scattered them over salad, also added to scrambled eggs and a charcuterie board. Definitely worth the cost - will be repurchasing!

On the salty side but good.

I've tried several different brands and Fishwife is hands down the most fresh and delicious. The smoked trout is my favorite but the salmon is also delicious.

My first two batches were good. My third batch, I've only opened one tin so far, but it was nothing, but skin, fins, and a jumble of meat that didn't even look like it came from the skin they threw in the can.
