The Click Up is an innovative belay device developed for sport climbing. It is simple to use and its innovative design has safety features that prevent mistakes. Easy to use, intuitive and safe, it is extremely lightweight and compact. It presents many advantages: it allows you to quickly and fluidly feed rope without jamming (fig. 1); it allows to arrest a fall simply by pull down the free hand of the rope (fig. 2); it operates without the need to act on levers and moving parts (fig. 3); especially suitable for beginners and children because intuitive and error-proof. i bought this to replace my cinch device (which i alos like a lot). I used the click up on a guided holiday tour and found it to be the most straight forward and easy to use device with a assisted locking mechanism. it works just like a standard ATC, it is more intuitive than other devices of this kind and a better lower off control and perfect to feed out rope to leaders. It's now my go to device. helps when climbing with new people for the first time as its so easy they get it first time. the device helps build trust

very useful - careful with rope thickness
A very useful little tool for belaying. Only drawback is that on an indoor wall on the top rope sections the ropes tend be quite thick and belaying in this tool becomes very hard. Brilliant for use with 9mm rope on lead belay though.

Great piece of gear
I have been using the Click up for top rope wall climbing for a few weeks now and it takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang it is good. It does brake well, but you should not have the rope taut when belaying or it will click up.

I can with all confidence say I love it. I've used it both indoor and outdoor ...
After a few months of use, I can with all confidence say I love it. I've used it both indoor and outdoor for lead climbing and top roping. My wife has also used it to belay me and the auto locking function gives an extra level of safety. I'd say this is very beginner friends due to this locking function.

Excellent device. Bought to teach my 11 and 8 year old to belay. Close enough to older style device to give good technique but with some added safety. Really delighted with it.
