These are one of my favorite amazon purchases! Here’s why: the fabric is fantastic & gets even better when washed. The stitching is solid & high quality & the mitered corners are appealing & give a high-end & thoughtful look.Pro Tip: after washing, grab each napkin and gently pull on opposite sides so dryer can do its work properly. You will not have wrinkles if you do this AND immediately fold them when dryer finishes. I had to iron my first time because I gave them no attention. Sometimes I slip them under my chargers and let them hang down in front of the setting for a more dramatic & formal look.

Nice color. I wash on delicate and have tried drying on low or laying flat to dry. Either way they come out really wrinkly and require ironing. I don't like high maintenance items and this one definitely is. Takes a lot of work to make them look nice. They have been moved from everyday napkins to special occasion because they take so much ironing. Without ironing they look like they've been wadded up. But if you like to iron you'll love these! 3 stars for me, I hate ironing.

If you want napkins that are perfectly flat out of the dryer, get some with polyester. These are cotton, and they are going to wrinkle. Whoever says they don't is fibbing.These are beautiful, though, and big, and soft once you wash them. So iron them already. :o)

I would like to start off by saying that I bought this product, along with some bar towels for when I needed something with nap, strictly for utilitarian purposes to use in place of paper towels. These napkins were only slightly more than half the price I paid for some napkins I bought to actually use as napkins by a certain well-known brand, so I wasn't expecting much. To my amazement, these appear to be EXACTLY the same weight, dimensions, and quality as those much more expensive ones, are also made in India; so similar that I wonder if they didn't come out of the same factory! For my present purpose I was specifically looking for a lightweight, easy to crumple, fairly absorbent napkin that had plenty of color so stains would not be noticeable. Thicker ones aren't as flexible and sometimes actually shed water and spills more than absorbing them. Light colored ones when put to this use seem to stain fairly quickly beyond where you'd want them on display in the kitchen, and I didn't want the ecological problems or costs of having to use bleach. They are very absorbent, and easily hemmable (I cut some into quarters to replace half-size paper towels). Surprisingly, even with the intense red and black coloring they did not bleed at all when initially washed on warm, so I am confident they can be put in with general laundry after each use. They did not shrink to any noticeable degree, and when taken out immediately after drying did not need ironing for casual use. I would not hesitate to buy again, either for my present purpose or to actually use as napkins!

These are great napkins and the price was right. I have washed and dried them and they still look wonderful.

Love these napkins in the black and white check. Excellent workmanship and heavy fabric. I am using them as part of my decor throughout kitchen/family room. I think these are one of the best deals around if you are into the black and white check theme.

Pros: cloth napkins are great. These were well priced so I dont care if we get cherry juice on them and accidentally stain a bit.Cons: not good for spills. Not absorbent enough for spills (no I dont use dryer sheets or softeners that decrease absorbency).Needs to be ironed to look nice at all. So, fine for every day family use, but not for fancy stuff.

Really cute napkins to go with the runner I purchased a week before. The napkins are large, and absorb well, they aren't super thick like the heavy duty nylon napkins that allow everything to slip off, they are the perfect thickness (not see through at all). Great value, especially for as many as you get (12)! I am a fan, will buy in other patterns as well. Awesome.

These are of very good quality cotton. Well made too. Haven’t washed them yet so hopeful colours do not run.

I bought these two years ago and they're still washing up and drying nicely. These are used everyday and the stitching is still holding up really well. They're not pre-washed cotton so they shrunk down to 18" x 18" but they're still a good size. I bought the 'teal and white' but mine are actually 'turquoise' (not teal) and white. I came back to buy the black and red napkins but they're not available through this seller at this time and are an exorbitant price through another third party seller, which I won't pay. I'll wait to see if they become available from this seller again.

These napkins are lovely - they have a generous hem and are absorbent and a nice texture. Guests have commented on how much they admire these napkins. I was concerned the checked pattern might look too "folksy" with my modern decor but they are striking while they fit right in with my black leather dining chairs.
