Significantly more secure over factory.
I purchased these to replace the flimsy quarter turn locks from the factory. The thread diameter is sturdy and really cinches my saddlebags to the frame. The wider surface area of the knob helps increase effort needed for someone to rip the bag off.

i used these for a Harley saddlebag mount on a Honda VTX, and they work absolutely perfect. quick and easy install! but like someone else suggested, i also added an additional washer. certainly not a requirement, but just wanted it for peace of mind. 5/5, would definitely recommend

Nice quality hardware. Well worth it for a bit of extra security
Got these to replace the mounting hardware on my current bike. tehy're nice and I like the fact that the screw mounts have nice deep threads on them so you can really tighten them down without fear of stripping the threads. Adds a lot of security in my mind. Well worth it. Recommended.

Good looking hardware.
This set of saddlebag hardware has a nice finish and should hold the bags on the bike with no problems. I would recommend using your factory washers or at least go purchase the proper size washers to keep from scratching the backside of the bags. If it came with the washers it would be perfect.
