Well, it's a great idea, needs better execution. If this were done right, I think it would cost around $100. But it's a great idea, turns your guitar into an Autoharp. It just doesn't quite get all the way there...

I really wanted this to be useful
My nonprofit brings musical instruments into addiction treatment centers for group jams with the patients. Most of the patients that attend our visits are not musicians.I really wanted this item to be effective because it would allow the patients to strum along during the group jams.The item arrived crazy late, but I'm not faulting the seller for this. It got caught up at customs in China. The first thing I noticed about the item is that the screws will definitely do damage to the neck of the guitar. The pictures/videos for this item make it seem like it can be moved up the fret to change the key. This actually isn't possible without degrading many of the chords. If it's in the normal / standard position at the first fret, a few chords sound passable. Most don't sound like the chord it's supposed to be though, like they're missing entire notes and still calling it a regular major chord. I really wanted this item to work.
