I read lots of reviews on different race tracks and chose this one according to many great reviews. I can say we were not disappointed it is a great purchase, my grandchildren loved it, assembled and played with it as soon as they open the gift. If we had the room I would purchase a second one to make it more fun.

Was super excited for my 7 year old to experience slot racing like I did at his age. He was so excited when he unwrapped this gift. The excitement began to fade as we attempted to build the track. The provided instructions were terrible. After spending hours putting it together the magic moment finally came. We picked out our cars to race, had a countdown and the cars were off!!! One car made it to the second turn and stopped, the other car was stuck at the starting line.Tried to trouble shot the issue and nothing worked. Stay away from this toy.

This is actually a great gift for any kid whether it's for birthday or Christmas. The ease of assembly is awesome because these kids lack patients the value of the money is great because of the durability the functionality and the safety to it absolutely and fun to have.

It’s not until you build it can you find out whether the cars are functioning properly and/or the trigger controls; in my experience 1 of the 2 trigger controls didn’t work along with 1 of the 4 cars, super disappointing when you’ve worked together with your kid to put together as a significant part of their Christmas gifts.The other aspect that is important to caution consumers (which was previously mentioned in another review) was the very short power source cord. Mobile power sources don’t all provide the appropriate amount of power for the track to run properly. I’d also agree that another 2 or 3 rails for turns would be helpful but not as critical as the other aspects mentioned.I’d like to be sent replacement trigger controllers and cars, please let me know how that can happen.

It's a nice race track for kids to play with but boy, is this kit expensive when compared to similar products in the marketplace. I mean, it's neither the biggest nor the fastest track system available. So I just can't fathom the reason why it's listed at twice or thrice the price of other, just as generic alternatives. Did my kids have fun? Yes. Did I have fun with it? Yes. But would I recommend it to others? Not unless the price dropped to a more competitive level.

This is a really fun set. My kids are happy with it. It is pretty easy for them to set up on their own. My 11 and 10 year olds don’t need any help, the younger ones need a bit of help. The cars are really fun to race for all ages. I think the price is fair for what you get but it does need to be taken care of for it to last a long time. I can see it easily breaking when handled carelessly. I hope that sharing my opinion and experience here provides you some value when shopping and deciding on something like this set, if so please let everyone know below.

Cute toy, but somewhat difficult to assemble. And cars come off the track easily.

This is a nice slot car set. The cars are a bit larger than I remembered for years ago. The track took a little time to set up. The setup picture on the box is easier to read than the directions. You will need a USB charger charger to provide power. The cars work good and the loop to loop track made it fun for my grands. It is a fun set for them and brings back great memories.
