DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter 4K 2-Pack, DP to HDMI Adapter, Male Display Port to HDMI Female Connector for Laptop Computer Monitor TV Projector and More-Not Bidirectional

I do a lot of volunteer stuff at my church with tech and facilities, and had an older donated Dell computer for the church to use. I had a few donated monitors too. You can probably see the challenge. The computer I was working on had just VGA and DisplayPort outputs on it, which was pretty common on their SFF 700-series machines. But the monitors I had were only DVI and HDMI.I don't mind donating my time but don't necessarily want to spend a lot out of pocket on this stuff. I found this adapter for a great price and figured I would give it a try. It worked perfectly, no problems whatsoever. Display resolutions are fine, no sync issues or anything else. Obviously DisplayPort doesn't pass through any audio but that's fine, this computer was just being used for basic web use. The machine I set up was running Ubuntu 20.04LTS but I would assume the adapter works fine in Windows as well. Would certainly buy again if I needed another one.

I have a computer that has DisplayPort outputs but my monitor only has HDMI inputs. This did the job although I'm not tech-savvy enough to run benchmarks and comment on quality. It appears fine to me, video and audio work as expected.Make sure you understand what the product does. It adapts a DisplayPort out (the device sending the picture) to HDMI (what is displaying the picture; TV, monitor, etc.). It only works one way. So if you have a monitor with DisplayPort connections only and you want your HDMI game console to hook up to it, it won't work.

I purchased a 3 pack of these adapters. Unfortunately, only 2 of the 3 worked, but the seller quickly replaced the bad one.The adapter passes through HDR content at 4K resolution. Only one slight issue that I've found is that it doesn't handle my 3440x1440 ultrawide monitor correctly. I don't intend to use this adapter for that ultrawide monitor since it has both HDMI and DisplayPort already. I just wanted to thoroughly test the adapter to see what it was capable of.According to the seller, whom I contacted about this issue, the adapter has nothing to do with the available resolutions as those are determined by the monitor and the computer. However, that doesn't appear to be true.When I use these adapters with my ultrawide monitor, the maximum resolution available is 2560x1440. When I connect a 4K HDR monitor, this adapter has no problem passing through 3840x2160 resolution, HDR, or AMD Freesync.Connecting the ultrawide monitor to the same graphics card using either a direct HDMI connection or DispalyPort connection, the native 3440x1440 resolution is available again. The only time the ultrawide resolution drops to 2560x1440 is when I run DisplayPort out of the computer and HDMI into the monitor using this adapter.

Worked very well, good quality, as described, no issues, I used with KVM to convert one computer output from DP to HDMI

It works okay but I've noticed recently that the display will disconnect randomly and go to static. Did some trouble shooting with the cables, monitors, dock, etc. and narrowed it down to this adapter as the main failure point for the disconnection. It does get really hot when it disconnects. Not sure what that means.

If you want to use an HDMI display on an HP Display port,use this instead of a dedicated cable that is not usable any where else. Good price and work quite well.

Works perfectly! My monitors did not have a displayport but this adapter did the trick! Hooked up perfectly into my docking station. Not sure about longevity but it works. Plug and Play.
