The media could not be loaded. I've now been taking these Vitamatic Virgin Coconut Oil capsules daily for almost a week, and my experience with such has been positive. The first time I took such, I broke one capsule open to taste the liquid inside, and it does have a coconut oil taste, texture, and smell. In addition, while the oil in most of the capsules is clear, the oil inside some capsules is a mixture of clear and cloudy oil, which is very much consistent with virgin coconut oil: if and when coconut oil cools during processing it can solidify and have the opaque/cloudy appearance, and while the goal is to have clear coconut oil some parts of such can easily and quickly cool and solidify and become cloudy/opaque during processing. Thus, that some of these capsules have small amounts of cloudy/opaque coconut oil in such is completely normal.When I took some of the oil in one of these capsules and applied it to my skin, it softened and moisturized my skin, just as coconut oil typically does.This product is "Made In U.S.A.," and it says so prominently on the front of the label (see video).I have experienced an energy boost from taking these, but I am concerned that if I take these for too long it could raise my cholesterol level (which I can experience from coconut oil).This has been the fourth different supplement I have taken from Vitamatic, and their products and my experience with such have been good and positive, so much that I have come to regard Vitamatic as a leading producer of genuine and good supplements. My experience with this Vitamatic virgin coconut oil has been the same: good and positive.Lastly, for 180 softgels, the price this is being sold for at the time of posting this review ($9.99) makes this a really good deal.

Since I already have Vitamatic's MCT oil capsules - which use refined coconut oil - I was able to compare the two (see pic). The virgin coconut oil capsules have a hazy look to them, and the oil in them is a bit thicker.It's not a bad thing, it means that the oil is much less processed and contains some of the coconut solids, sugars and minerals, which are nutritionally beneficial. It probably means that the oil has been subject to less heat and potential for oxidation.In the grocery store you can buy virgin coconut oil, it usually comes in a jar and has a paste- or wax- like consistency (depending on the storage temperature). As opposed to the oil which is refined to a consistent, pure oil that's liquid at most temperatures.

This is a gel capsule. It is about the thickness of a pen and the same size as a piece of candy corn. Even though it is large, it is not difficult to take. Each capsule is 1000mg and the serving size is 3 capsules daily.

I was looking to maintain my skin and hair and thought this would be a good supplement. If it has what it states, then it's good bang for the buck. The bottle is huge, it's made in the USA, is digestible just fine, and doesn't have any aftertaste.

Im a big fan of coconut oil and the health benefits they provide. These are a very quality supplement and and I like its a big bottle 60day supply. I take it everyday as directed and will continue to do so. The bottle was sealed well also upon arrival and made in USA.

I love coconut oil and it's many health benefits. But it's not always possible to cook with the oil. These pills make it easy for you to consume the oil directly without any other preparation save for drinking a beverage. The pills are a little on the oblong side, so if you are one that has difficulty drinking pills, you may want to consider if you will consume these. This supplement works for me.

This VITAMATIC brand Virgin coconut oil supplement provides 3000mg coconut oil per 3 softgel serving. The softgels are what I perceived to be flavorless and easy to swallow, Non-GMO and Gluten Free. The MCTs contained in the coconut oil have many potential health support functions making this a desirable addition to your daily supplement regimen. The interior of the bottle was very clean and clear of any dust or product residue. I have always found products from this brand to be consistent and top quality and this one is no different and I also like that it is made in the USA. I am very pleased with this product and would order it again.

At 3 softgels a day this bottle contains a 2 month supply. They're easy to take and a nice convenient alternative for those like me that can't stomach the taste (and in my case the texture/consistency) of swallowing coconut oil outright from a spoon. The only thing that I dislike about this supplement though is that it's unfortunately not gelatin-free.
