Useful for doormats and plant pots!
This is a set of 4 galvanised steel grates. They are quite sturdy and heavy although perhaps a bit rough in places and not super even either. However the do work really well for what I needed them. We have a doormat with rubberised bottom outside our back door and it gets quite wet and manky underneath it. I have used the grates to put underneath the doormat to improve the drainage and it's been working really well in the heavy downpours we have had recently! I was surprised to see that I needed 3 of the grates for one fairly normal-sized doormat. I used the remaining 4th grate for one of my plant pots to lift if off the ground as I am fed up with ants climbing in through the drainage holes..

Versatile and Highly Useful Grate
This is precisely the sort of item I seek on Amazon. I would need far too many to replace the grates in my driveway, so I ordered only one to keep as a spare. However, there are myriad other uses for such an item. I can employ it whenever I need to place a heavy object on my lawn or in a specific spot (such as where I keep the dustbins). When used on the lawn, the grass will grow through the openings, nearly concealing the grate. Truly very useful!

Fit and finish is a bit rough
As you can see from the photos, the finish of these grates is a bit poor, there are lots of bits under the zinc surface, the zinc has excess where it wasn't cleaned off, it leaves dried-up zinc splashes on the floor and there are already rust spots appearing on the surface and in one of the corners. With the grates butted up against each other you can also see that they're not uniform, with uneven gaps. They'd look OK from a distance or if used to make a hardstanding area within grass, but they could do with a coat of paint right off the bat.
