My bench increased 60% in 5 weeks after I started using these collars. Also my squat went up 65%. And my girlfriend says I’m better looking. Hard to say. It is true that they simplify my life in the gym - no more hunting around for collars, wasting time. No more plates wandering out of position because I haven’t used a collar. Don't get anything else. get these. they are perfect. they lock in and do not move, at all, like all of the regular metal ones with the handles you squeeze to open. (im not saying all the metal ones move all over the place. i have had some nice ones that don't move much. but after your second set, they normally have moved a couple centimeters, and the weights have a tiny amount of wiggle room. THESE DONT)they are easier to put onthey are easier to take offthey don't have that awful metal taste (this is a joke)get these. im about to order 2 more sets of these for my dumbells. my buddy agrees these are the best clamps he has ever used.Trust me, these are cheaper and better than what you are used to.

5 stars at the ~~$12 price I purchased them for. They do not work especially well for anything over 300 lbs, but under this they are a very pleasant change from spring clips. The reason I gave these five stars is because I consider them a "cheap" foray into the market for this product. You can go into any store that sells lifting gear and find a similar product for $40-$50, and you can find $40-$50 versions on amazon or elsewhere that deserve five stars at a much higher weight limit. Frankly, I don't mind that they wobble a bit out of place when I drop a deadlift. They certainly do their job, and I've never come close to pinching anything yet. Also, even if you're basically dripping in sweat, you can operate the little one-finger flick and release thing with ease so there's that.I doubt I'll replace them for a long time. I have a feeling I'll bust them from blatant abuse they weren't really meant for before I truly want new ones.Oh yeah, they're plastic with metal bits, so there's no finish to rub off or scratch off.

Honestly, I never knew these things existed until I did a search for spring clips on Amazon. Since I am not familiar with these I bought a pair to try out and I purchased a pair of the old trusty spring clips. I have not used the spring clips once. Old antiquated trash. These are cheaper and superior in form and function. This is the wave of the weight securing clamp future right here. So much easier to get on the bar and provides a tighter grip.I know that them being made out of plastic may be a cause for concern for some, as it was for me. I assure you that these are rock solid. I put two 45lb plates on the end of a barbell and lifted it by the clamp. The clamp did not budge a millimeter. I really love these clamps.

I have used "muscle clamps" originals for years, saw these on Amazon at a ridiculously low price and in PINK....it was a no-brainer. Ordered them, received quickly, super durable, color is amazing, fits Olympic size bar and I could go on and on....I liked them so much I bought several other pairs to share with a few of my dedicated fellow gym goers and they love them! I mean really, who wants to go searching for collars in the gym and then having to squeeze the living crap out of them to get em' to open? Not me, I'm female, I'm impatient, and like the ease of these collars - no problems EVER and they are "pretty" especially when the bar is loaded up to lift like Tarzan but the collars say Jane!

Very easy to use and holds the plates snuggly in place on my Olympic barbell for benching, squats and rows. Works well on my EZ-bar and hex bar too. However it tends to shift and slip a bit on Olympic dumbbells so I stick with the spring collars for that. I had mine for about 3 years now with no issues. Of course I don’t throw my weights around like a gorilla either and I don’t need to damage my garage surface. It does the job.

These clamps are awesome they're my favorite easy to put on and take off for no problems. I really like that I can have my own caller cuz I get the purple ones. if you're looking for something that will secure your weights without those crappy clip ones at the gym provides, those are the ones you want stay away from the steel ones they don't work well. I've had nothing but issues with the old fashioned metal clip ones and they solved all my problems they stay stiff and they don't move while I'm lifting really heavy weights at 300 lb. Surprisingly they're very sturdy when I'm deadlifting they don't come loose. they clamp on tight and don't move throughout my deadlifts.

I use my clips every time and feel secure when I use the barbell for squats.

These are great little clamps. Small and light enough to always keep in the gym bag. Easy to set up, just a quick slide in and clamp, i actually never even fully clamp them as i find that its enough to slightly clamp to prevent any movement and makes it for a faster removal when done. I always used to get frustrated at the gym cause i could never ever find any clamps around, now i no longer have to worry about that as i always have these little guys with me.

I always struggled finding decent clips at the gym so buying my own was a no brainer. These are easy to use, sturdy and secure. I also love the colour. Very pleased with them.
