While I haven’t used this windscreen in real wind, it looks like it should block the wind very well. It is very easy to put together, comes in a very nice carrying case, and has some definite weight to it (and won’t blow over!)My camping stove has a side compartment for a butane canister and is 12"L x 14"W x 4”H. The stove fits nicely within this windscreen (see photo) and has a little extra room on the side. Stoves > 12" on the one side will not fit completely within the windscreen. A spoon or spatula would nicely fit on the little shelf on top of the windscreen. I’ve added this to my camping gear and am looking forward to using it!

The last time I camped we had to pile a bunch of table stuff around our small double-burner stove to block the wind. This cast iron windscreen is the perfect solution for today's compact butane-canister cook stoves. And I was able to tuck my jet boil burner behind it as well when heating water in the mornings.My single-stove and double-stove grills fit behind it, I love the top rack for the salts and spices we always bring, and it folds flat into it's own storage bag that slips easily into my kitchen gear box. It's slightly heavy because it's metal, but for camping at the beach or mountains when you've got a kitchen tub with you, could not be more perfect for low or high wind situations. Grateful to have this high-value piece of gear. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

Wish the top would lock in secure

I used this during a week long canoe trip in the Wisconsin Northwoods and it worked great. It gets pretty windy camping near the water, so a windscreen is necessary to cook. Both of my camp stoves do well when I have them turned up, but they struggle in any wind when I have them set low enough to simmer. I have another windscreen that has 16 smaller folding panels and I find it awkward to set up and it's blown over a few times. This steel windscreen has some heft to it and will not blow over.

Great little wind screen it worked well and done exactly what it was supposed to do I'll definitely be using it on future trips it makes your gas last a little longer and the little shelf is especially nice for you seasonings an spices I would definitely recommend to anyone who uses camp stoves

This thing is well built brother! Nice thick steel. I used it recently camping and it made a massive difference in wind protection while cooking. Its a bit heavy because its so beefy. I like the carry case too. Anything thats easily stored for hunting/camping gets 5 stars in my book!

This wind screen is no joke. It is very hefty weight wise, which references its construction. It will definitely stand up to most camping winds and shields one’s stove from being blown out or messing with the flames. I don’t know of I like the added shelf portion or not. You could use it to hold your seasoning and utensils but that’s only if you’re strapped for more surface area. Like I mentioned, this thing is made of heavy steel and I feel like the added shelf weight may not be necessary. In top of that, I would mind if this folded a few more times to make it a little more compact. It might not be a 5 star item in my book, but definitely still worthy of 4 stars or above average.
