Why I like the nature hike more than my nemo dagger
I am pretty new to backpacking and camping, but I've got to say, I love this tent. Compared to my $370 nemo dagger, it feels more durable and easier to set up. The nemo tent just feels like thin material that could rip easily, and far too many plastic components. I like that the nature hike has metal connectors in the corners for the stakes to co in to, and the plastic claps to attach the tent to the poles has a better design and stronger plastic in my opinion. The pockets are great, and I especially love the huge top pocket. I had trouble getting the rain fly to connect on either side of the cross bar, but I learned that the cross bar has to go over top of the main center pole. Worked great in the rain and kept condensation off of us. It is a true 2 person tent, and fit my big agnes double pad perfectly. In my pictures I have my long and wide ampex 25x76 pad, which leaves plenty of room for another pad or gear. Way bigger, cheaper, and more durable than my nemo. Also includes the footprint, which the nemo didn't!

Perfect for motorcycle camping
Bought it for solo motocamping because a couple other reviews said it was good, and they were correct. Packs down really compact and quickly (10 mins including figuring out how to fold it), and even quicker setup. Includes really nice and sturdy anodized tri stakes. Surprisingly spacious inside, though if you're over 6ft tall you'll either need to sleep diagonally or bend your knees. Plenty of space for 1 person + full motorcycle gear. 2 people would fit fine for normal camping but gear inside would be a challenge.Materials seem solid and well constructed, rain fly completely covers the mesh and has handy rollup spots and vents on the sides. Includes a footprint as well. Pole is solid, and the tent + fly mounting points are also anodized aluminum.Overall very good quality especially for the price, and perfect to bring on a bike.

Naturehike Mongar 2
I've used this tent for about 3 weeks so far. Great for one person plus gear. Very easy setup and includes a ground mat. You will need a few extra stakes if you plan to guy out the tent. Easy to pack up and everything fits nicely In the provided bag. Haven't had the tent up in any crazy wind or rain so can't comment on that. No leaks with light rain and held up with wind around 20mph. Rain fly does sag a bit with rain and colder temps. No really a fan of the rain fly attachments to the poles, wish they were velcro like my other tents. Also wish the rain fly was a bit closer to the ground. I would recommend this tent and it is worth the money purchased for.

Great value for an incredible design in a hiking tent.
Incredible high-tech tent at a low price....incredible value! Easy to set up and break down...easy to store in its bag and ideal for hiking. Great ratings and reviews on YouTube have been confirmed. This tent is well-designed and likely the prototype for many tent copycats concepts to come. Sleeps two in a cozy cuddling manner...otherwise would act as a spacial palace of a one-man adventure tent.I am very pleased with my purchase of this tent.

Philmont Trek
I purchased this Blue 15D nylon tent for our son to use for a Boy Scout trip to Philmont, NM. He was only supposed to use it for their first night prior to arriving on sight at base camp, and then he would switch to a camp issued tent. Well, he and a fellow Scout (tent buddies are required by Philmont) liked this tent so much that they opted to carry it and use it for their 10 nights on the trail! They loved fact that it was lighter than the Philmont issued tents and that it packed up smaller. (Normally you split tent and poles up so each tent buddy carries some of the weight, but our son carried the entire thing the whole trek because it was so easy to carry.) He also liked that there were two doors, one on either side, which prevented the awkwardness of climbing over each other. Because of this, they also each had their own small vestibule for boots right outside their doors. The small hammock inside worked well to hold headlamps, etc. Both boys are about 6 feet tall and they were comfortable and both felt like they had enough room. It vented well so there wasn’t a lot of condensation buildup even though temps ranged from the upper 80s during the day to the mid 30s some nights. We did not add any water repellent prior to the trip and yet it repelled rain water and dew wonderfully. They appreciated that it came with its own ground cloth, which easily fit inside the carry sack with all of the other tent pieces. It held up well on a very demanding hike with set up and tear down each day in varying conditions. The bit of dust that it accumulated rinsed off easily with water and a sponge upon returning home.Honestly, if I’d known the boys were going to use this tent their entire trip, I would have spent more for a name brand tent. Thinking they’d only use it for one night, I figure this one was ‘good enough’. Now, knowing what I know, this tent is up for any challenge! Save yourself some money and go with this tent!

Exceptional tent at an exceptional value
I spent a great deal of time researching this tent alongside several other similar options and pulled the trigger a while back. Since that I’ve done a couple of overnights with several more coming up over the next 2-3 months, and I am happy to say I am confident in my shelter system thanks to the Mongar 2.This is basically a knock off of the MSR Hubba Hubba, but at a much more affordable price. You do pick up a bit of weight (the Mongar is all in at about 4.5 lbs), but it really is worth it. I’ve seen many test runs in n horrible weather on YouTube, and my first run out we got hit by a pretty severe thunderstorm and I did not get a drop of moisture inside, and the structure took it like a champ. Thanks to the mesh body condensation is also not an issue.I’d say the only “minus” might be the stakes; they are certainly better than those cheap rounded pegs you get in a lot of tents, but they still feel a little delicate. I haven’t bent one yet, but I do keep spares for my tarp set up close at hand just in case.If you’re looking for an affordable, relatively light (but not ultralight light) tent, I’d definitely put this at the top of your list.
