This works! Fantastic!! I can't believe I haven't had one of these and was so needed for my garden and grass area. Seems to be reading out pretty accurately. Knowing the pH level is great for making adjustments! Very durable and functions. Really easy. Great value for the money and easy to clean!

We've been trying to determine if our irrigation is sufficiently watering our garden, so we needed a moisture sensor to test. We found this on Amazon and decided to give it a go. So far so good - it tells us whether dry or sufficiently watered as well as measures soil PH and sunlight, both of which are pluses. It's a bit long - fine for our garden but you probably wouldn't want to use it in a flower pot or similar unless fairly large. But overall it works well and does what it should!

Easy to use and seems very accurate

This has been so helpful as I start my first garden. I can place it in different areas of my garden for any period of time to measure how much light my plants and flowers get. It measures the PH balance in the soil so I can be sure the roots are staying healthy. It has a very easy to read display. And most importantly, it measures the amount of moisture in the soil. This is extremely important living in a very hot climate. As I'm heading into the hottest time of the year this is going to be one of the most important tools in my garden.

I bought this tester along with high quality Duracell batteries. The unit looked solid, no damage, good to go. Put it in the soil and it read 7.1 PH. and said dry so I watered soil lightly, tested again an hour later it read, 0PH. Tried it in several locations around the plant and it either reads 7.1 or 0.I feel this is a joke, it only reads 0 or 7.1 and always says soil is dry.So i took a separate pot of plain soil to test. Placed it in the soil 4" deep it read dry, 7.1Ph. So I drenched the soil with lemon juice water with a Ph of 5.5. Let it soak in about an hour and tested it again, this time it read wet, and I will give you a guess on what the Ph reading was? You guessed it, 7.1I honestly feel this is a novelty item and would not take it seriously, very disappointing cause I spent the extra money thinking I was getting a better tester than the cheaper models and it is worthless, and worst yet cost me too much to have to drive and return it, so I'm out the $$

It seems to work okay. It is really fragile so I’m not sure how long it will last.

I do not have a green thumb so finding a gadget to help keep my plants alive is an actual “plant lifesaver.” You need to add batteries which is easy to install. It is very user friendly and shows the results on a large big print screen (great for old people like me). Great gadget for people like me!
