First time welding
I welded my son's aluminum head to fix his threads. It came out great

Works
It's not bad wire, its not the best wire, its right there in the middle. For the cost it is great, but I did find a flat spot or something that stopped it from feeding correctly. All in all it is good wire.

Works perfectly in my ARCCAPTAIN Mig welder
I have been extremely happy with the other ARCCAPTAIN products I have. When this became available I couldn't resist getting it. I have a few aluminum projects that I am working on. Mainly I am fabricating stabilization pods for my 12 foot jon boat. Since the boat is so small I can't find premade pods for it. I cut out the panels in the shape I wanted but needed to weld them up. I don't have much experience welding aluminum so I took my time and adjusted the settings on my welder accordingly. It fed through my spool gun with ease, unlike other cheaper brands that you can find at the HF stores. This has taken me a few weekends to get done right, but The wire fed exactly as it should, and the welds look decent. When I finished making the pods I put them in a tank to make sure they are water tight before attaching to my boat. The first trip out a few people asked me about where I got the pods. When I told them I made them they are now interested in having me make some for them. This wire is going to end up making me some money. I will probably need to go buy a few more spools now.

Not good for DIY anodizing
It's probably fine for welding, but it's not good for Diy anodizing. The wire itself doesn't anodize, so the current travels through it instead of the part once a very thin layer of anodization starts. It also wasn't easy to twist it tight to my part without it breaking. I'm still giving it 4 stars because it was a great value, and I can't fault it for not being good at something it wasn't designed for.

Good welding wire
What can be said about welding wire? If I was a professional, I’m sure I could espouse all the amazing details about this wire’s performance. But, since I’m not a professional welder, all I can say is it worked for me, and I’m very happy with it’s performance.

Works ok in my HTP revolution 2500 with some tweaking.
I got this to try in my HTP revolution 2500 with a spoolgun, unfortunately I did not go into the machine and look at all the settings first, or I would have seen that there isn't a way to set it to 4943 0.030" diameter, they only have 0.035" and 3/64" But they do have a program for 5356 at 0.030", so I tried it with that and fiddled with the trim settings, and I was able to get it to work. I'm sure I can fine tune it and get it closer to what it should be. I did notice the wire did feed nice and smoothly in my spoolgun, and it didn't have any issues getting tangled up or jamming, so I really only have good things to say about it.
