Surprised me with what it can do and what can monitor, was able to retrieve codes that another scanner couldn’t and erase them. Works well and i would recommend it, good budget one to have on the go.

I gave this Product 4 Stars because it said it monitored the transmission which it did not but other than that the product was easy to use and set up! 1 Thing i noticed tho and please beware of do not scan the code for the product because doing so will take you to a page to want you to purchase a product with a 2 day free use of some product thats not even associated with this unit that will ask for credit card information and everything!! So just go straight to the playstore and get the app you need and download it and you're in business. I thought that bit of information was very important!

The scanner needs to connect to your card ODBII port, usually under the steering wheel on the driver side. It will turn on the red power light of the reader first. On your phone, you will need to download the OBD Home app and connect to the scanner via bluetooth. The link light on the scanner will start flashing and stay solid green when bluetooth connection is established. After a diagnose scan, it will shows any errors code that you car has. The scanner also has an ability to log and monitor any parameters that it can read from the car. The app is simple, but provide enough information to diagnose.

Honestly. For the price point it’s solid. Plug it in and it connects consistently and easily after you download the application.One thing I really liked is that it shows the percentage of ethanol in my gas. Found out why my (formerly) favorite station was priced so low. Their fuel was nearly 20% alcohol! More than E85! I now spend a few cents more but the fuel is only 6%. That alone made this reader worth the money!The product performs exactly as expected, very easy to connect, setup and use. The “Dashboard” feature allows you to see engine performance and other information while on the road! The information provided to corresponding mobile app is fast and clear. Materials and design is excellent. Definitely recommend this product.Basically, it does what it’s supposed to do. I use it constantly because come with hardly any gauges to monitor vitals under the hood. With this device I can now see all the specs pretty accurately, and this is the first stage to preventing component failure. I own here vehicles and mostly it’s in my 2011 Expedition. It’s the oldest one I have. So far I’ve seen zero codes in any of them!

This thing was awesome. I have a non critical code that pops on every couple days and I could clear it with ease with this thing. Took it out to clear someone else’s code on a different vehicle and when I put it back in my vehicle, it literally takes a half hour to finish scanning now. Idk why it’s taking so long now but it’s driving. me. crazy.

The battery on my truck died and had to be jump started. As a result, my truck wouldn’t pass state inspection because the O2 sensor monitor and evap system did not reset. As I drove through several drive cycles over several days, I used this OBD2 monitor to check my progress. As soon as it indicated that the O2 sensor reset, I drove to the inspection station and passed inspection. It saved me from going back repeatedly, just so the station could plug in their OBD2 monitor and tell me the truck was still rejected! I love this thing. Small, light weight, easy to use. The company’s app is lousy. I paired it with the free Car Scanner app and it worked perfectly.
