Voctent portable vocal boothI recently started voice over acting classes. It’s important to have a good quality home studio for my voice recordings.So when I saw the Voctent portable vocal booth, I ordered it and it didn’t disappoint. It goes together easily and everything fits into the travel bag with room to spare. The blankets come in their own space blankets with accompanying air pump for easy storage. The “blankets” are thick, heavy, good quality material. This unit comes with floor protection which is important if you have hard surface floors. With the ceiling and floor treatment along with the heavy “walls”, the echo and reverb are reduced but ambient sound is still available.The white interior removes some of the claustrophobic feelings of the black ones. Its added accessories are very helpful. The led light has different levels to suit your lighting requirements. The tray for audio interface and the mount stand for iPad or phone are easy to install.I recorded a voice over demo and my recording passed the ACX Standards, which is important if you want to record audio books.

It was very easy and intuitive to set up. I'm short, and I was still able to set this up with ease, as the pipes are lightweight and the covering is easy to attach to the top with its built-in Velcro straps. Mine came with a tray that connects to any of the corner pipes inside that I use to hold my tablet which I read off of. It also has a separate phone/tablet holder that straps to the pipes as well which actually has a strong enough grip to hold my audio interface. The space does get a little warm inside after a while, but that is expected, as the covering is thick - which of course is the point, since it dampens outside sound. I just leave the curtains open when I'm not using it. Also it comes with a nice big bag that can carry all the parts of the booth disassembled, so the booth is truly portable if you're on the road. Especially with the price, I would definitely recommend this portable booth compared to others.

Perfect for Travel RecordingI got the Large size and it’s exactly what I needed — portable, easy to set up, and great for recording while traveling. It arrived quickly and everything was clean and well-packed.The white interior makes it feel bright and spacious inside and I like that they included an LED light, phone or tablet holder, and tray. I think when I pack it up for flying I will roll the pipes in the blankets and not do the vacuum sealing so things aren’t loose in the bag but for storing at home, the vacuum bags are a nice touch and make it more compact for storing.Will update review regarding the sound in the future!Highly recommend!

Needed a quick fix for the echo in my home studio, and this booth did the trick. The sound blankets are super thick and work way better than the flimsy moving blankets I used before. Setup was a breeze and it cut down the reflections BIG TIME. It's not soundproof, but it’s perfect for getting clean recordings. Totally recommend for any VO artist who’s always on the go.

My booth arrived while I was out working. I was very eager to set it up once I got home. Very easy setup. Obvious difference once I step inside. I still hear some outside noise. My booth may need to be relocated to see which area of my apartment is the quietest. Looking forward to doing some voice over recording this week. I’ll update my review and findings then…

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this vocal booth to cut back on reverb during my recordings and was blown away how effective this booth was. Gave much cleaner warmer, clear dryer vocals for my mixes. Reverb is best added post recording to maximize control over it. easier to add than to take away. vs If on the original recording. will recommend this to any hobbyist or bands trying to get clean vocals . Thanks again!

What is important to know about this booth are a) it has a nice duffle bag to carry the parts in; and 2) the material that covers the booth is made of is heavy and would muffle sound. The negative in my experience was that this booth was not sturdy after attempts to assemble were completed, which is not ideal when attempting to make vocal recordings.
