we have one of these and lately it started a long beeeeeep after a card is read. wont relase door till it stops and you swipe again. anyone know why?

Sounds faulty. They should only beep quickly and flash the leds if it's a wrong card. Not a long beep . Sounds like the unit is powering off and back on quickly when u swipe
