Great pump
This pump has proven to be a reliable and efficient solution for transferring fuel and other liquids. As someone who frequently handles various types of fluids, I was on the lookout for a portable pump that could simplify my tasks. After using it for several weeks, here are my thoughts:Performance:boasts a commendable flow rate, allowing me to transfer up to 2.4 gallons per minute, which is impressive for a battery-operated pump. Whether I'm moving gasoline, diesel, or even water, it performs consistently well without any hiccups. The suction capability is also quite strong, making it easy to drain tanks or containers quickly.Ease of Use:One of the standout features of this pump is its user-friendly design. The instructions were straightforward, and I was able to set it up in just a few minutes. The built-in nozzle makes it easy to control the flow, and the automatic shut-off feature is a significant safety bonus, preventing spills.Portability:Weighing in at just over 1 pound, is incredibly lightweight and easy to carry. The compact design fits well in my toolkit, making it convenient for on-the-go use. The handle is comfortable, and I appreciate that it doesn't take up much space in my garage.Durability:While the pump is primarily made of plastic, which raises some concerns about longevity, it feels sturdy enough for regular use. I've noticed no wear or damage so far, but I would advise being cautious when handling it to avoid any drops or impacts.Battery Life:The pump operates on two D batteries, which are not included. While I appreciate the cordless design, I did find that the battery life could be improved. After a few uses, I had to replace the batteries, so I'd recommend investing in rechargeable ones for cost-effectiveness.#### Conclusion:Overall is an excellent choice for anyone needing a portable and efficient transfer pump. Its performance, ease of use, and portability make it a valuable addition to any toolkit. However, potential buyers should be aware of the battery life limitations. For occasional use, it’s a fantastic option, but for heavy-duty tasks, you might want to consider a more robust, electric model.**Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! Just be prepared to stock up on batteries.

Check the fit
The cone shape goes in the tank being pumped out. Bought it to.drain a motor cycle tank thinking the hose end would go in the tank and I could get nooks and crannys. Not the case, the rod end is the pump end and not flexible. Also to big around to go in a harley tank hole. Can't modify as it has an impeller on the end that needs to be submerged. It dies pump 20w 50 oil just fine and of course gS, surprisingly well. I guess I will use mine to pump paint out of buckets or things like that. It is cheaply built but super cheap too at 15 bucks. It ain't a Lamborghini but a pinto is a miracle too imo. It pumps gas quick not sure for how many years
