This device literally saved my life today. I’m an old school contractor who can do lots of things on my house. Today I was installing a metal roof on my house. I’ve installed metal roofs before but never with this much pitch. I was 30 feet up and lost traction. I went over the side and this caught me immediately. I was so thankful. I would highly recommend

Operated correctly without fault.

I like the lifeline except for one thing. The gate opening depth was not large enough for the roof anchors I had so I had to buy a snap carabiner to attach to that then I was able to attach that to the roof anchor.

wish it was lighter. added 4 foot extension for my job. the range pull allowed me to keep the line from getting on my feet and to work over a large area. unit locked on strong pulls and released by retracting it. worked well.

Works well. Cable will try to unrevel a few strands if you spit too many times, so don't turn just one way.Would recommend.

I live on 4 acres and have over 60 trees on my property that are really tall and of course, produce mistletoe. My dad comes over with the fork lift and bucket, lifts me up so I can get the tallest mistletoe. He's 91, but you'd think he was 71 with his body and mind. Regardless, I still want added protection while up in the air so this lifeline is exactly what I needed. I haven't been in a situation to where I needed to use it because of a fall, but knowing it's there whilst in the basket is a comfort. I do wish it was certified so I could use it on job sites, but at home it works for me!
